Abstract: Two-stage classification of a granular material, in particular a cement grinding feed, is accomplished in two classifiers connected in series in such a way that the separative behavior or the separative action and thus the particle-size distribution of the undersized or finished material coming from the second classifier can be modified with simple resources. Part or all of the oversized material of the second classifier is recycled to the second classifier.
Abstract: A conveyor crossover has a pivotable ramp which is moved from a horizontal bridging position across a conveyor to an upright position is which it is out of the way of material being moved by the conveyor. The ramp is raised and lowered by a control system which includes a pair of fluid actuators controlling pivotal movement of the ramp together with controls at both sides of the conveyor for adjusting a control valve controlling flow of fluid to and from the actuators. A latch mechanism is provided to hold the ramp in its raised position.

Abstract: A three point tractor hitch permitting an implement to be attached or detached by an operator without leaving the tractor seat. The upper hitch arm includes a linear actuator with a hand grip and a hand operated switch controlling extension and contraction of the upper arm. A latching mechanism and a hand operated latch release are mounted on the upper arm facilitating attachment and release of the upper arm to an upper attaching pin of an implement hitch mast. One of the two lower arms of the hitch can be shifted laterally by a hydraulically actuated cylinder.

Abstract: Cement clinker production apparatus having a precalcination stage connected upstream of a rotary kiln, in which precalcination stage a CO-containing reduction zone in the rotary kiln off-gas duct is employed for the purpose of reducing the pollutant NOx. In order to make certain that the quantitative ratio of O2 in the rotary kiln off-gas to fuel admitted by a deNOx burner, and thus control the effectiveness of NOx reduction, a pivoting throttle valve (33) is positioned in the precalcination stage to control the quantity of rotary kiln off-gas and thus the O2 content in the kiln off-gas. The throttle valve (33) is positioned in the rotary kiln off-gas duct (15) above the deNOx burner (19), above the raw meal inlet (13), and before the confluence of the tertiary air substream with the rotary kiln off gas.

The modules are sized for shipment by truck or railroad car to the bulk unloading site. The lower module contains fluid transfer equipment. Unloading arms, with fluid conduits connectable to a fluid containing vehicle at one lateral side of the station, are mounted on the upper module.
