Abstract: Disclosed is an improved lamp circuit of a liquid crystal device (LCD) backlight source, comprising a printed circuit board (PCB) for lamp initialization having a control circuit and a first connector thereon; a first lamp connection board disposed between the first lamp connection board and a second lamp connection board and being lamps of the LCD backlight source; a second lamp connection board having a second connector and transformers thereon, the transformers each corresponding to one of the lamps; and a low voltage wire set connected between the first connector on the PCB for lamp initialization and the second connector on the second lamp connection board, wherein a signal issued from the first connector on the PCB for lamp initialization is transmitted through the low voltage wire set to the second connector on the first PCB for lamp initialization and then to a corresponding one of the transformers so that the lamps may be driven to operate.
Abstract: A power converter and a PWM controller for compensating a maximum output power includes a power switch, an oscillator, a control circuit and a delay modulator. The oscillator generates a pulse signal. The control circuit is coupled to the oscillator for generating a PWM signal and an over current signal in response to the pulse signal and a current sense signal of the power converter. The delay modulator is coupled to the control circuit for generating a delay control signal in response to the PWM signal and the over current signal, wherein the delay control signal is used to prolong a propagation delay time of the control circuit in response to the on-time of the PWM signal, and the propagation delay time can be compensated by the on-time of the PWM signal to limit the maximum output power under a high-line input voltage and a heavy-load condition.
Abstract: A light-emitting diode includes a substrate, a primary stack structure, a secondary stack structure, a transparent insulating material and a transparent conducting layer in an embodiment. Each of the primary and the secondary stack structure has a first conducting-type semiconductor layer, and illuminating layer, and a second conducting-type semiconductor layer sequentially formed on the substrate, wherein plural pillar-like holes are formed at the top surface of the second conducting-type semiconductor layer of the secondary stack structure and protrude into the first conducting-type semiconductor layer of the secondary stack structure. The transparent insulating material is filled into the holes. The transparent conducting layer is coated on the primary stack structure, the transparent insulating material, and the tope surface of the second conducting-type semiconductor layer of the secondary stack structure.
Abstract: A method for making Mg(magnesium)-based intermetallic compound uses a thermal process during a melting process to produce largely the Mg-based intermetallic compound. The vapor pressure of Mg is high, thereby Mg is prone to be vaporized from a melt and a wrought solid alloy in the melting process of high temperature, for purifying the wrought Mg-based intermetallic compound. The method may simplify the process and devices for making the Mg-based intermetallic compound, and produce efficiently a larger of high purity Mg-based intermetallic compound.

Abstract: In a long-lasting collagen and its manufacturing method, a pig skin is gone through processes of scraping extra tissues, removing fats, imbibition, digesting, centrifugal separation, salting-out, collecting lower-layer precipitate and freeze-drying to form a collagen, and the collagen is mixed with ?-PGA, and then a glutaraldehyde solution is added and mixed uniformly to perform a first crosslinking and form the long-lasting collagen, so as to overcome the shortcomings of a conventional collagen having a short storage time, a requirement of applying the collagen repeatedly, and a high concentration of remained glutaradldehyde which is biologically poisonous to human bodies.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a frame, a lamp stationary barrier, and at least one lamp. The lamp stationary barrier has at least one side wall formed by oblique lines. The lamp is disposed in the frame, and at least a portion of an electrode end of the lamp is covered by the side wall. The oblique side wall may effectively improve the luminance uniformity of the backlight module, and thus a liquid crystal display using this backlight module has good display quality.
Abstract: A computer mouse includes a sliding cover and a control platform. The sliding cover is disposed on the top surface of the computer mouse, and the control platform is disposed under the sliding cover. Several control keys are provided on the control platform. Two rails are provided on the sliding cover and two grooves are provided on the computer mouse so that the sliding cover may be slid downwards. When the sliding cover is slid downwards, the control keys may be automatically activated. When the sliding cover is closed, the computer mouse looks like a regular computer mouse; when the sliding cover is opened, the control keys may be automatically activated and a user may access the control keys.
Abstract: A nail gun switch mechanism includes a gun body and a trigger. A safety slidable bar has a bottom part which extends outside of a hitting mouth at a bottom of the gun body. The trigger has a trigger lever being pivotably disposed therein. A top part of the safety slidable bar extends near to an end of the trigger and a swing arm is pivotably disposed on the top part of the safety slidable bar. The swing arm includes an arm part extending from a pivotal center of the swing arm and a push part extending from the arm part toward outside. The push part is configured to be switched to a first or a second swing position and thus driven by the safety slidable bar to touch the trigger lever so as to operate the nail gun in a sequential or a contact actuation mode.

Abstract: The invention discloses a light-emitting diode, including a substrate, a first conductive type semiconductor layer, a second conductive type semiconductor layer, a light-emitting layer and plural laminated structures. The first conductive type semiconductor layer, the light-emitting layer and the second conductive type semiconductor layer are formed on the substrate in sequence. The plural laminated structures are formed on the upper surface of the second conductive type semiconductor layer such that the upper surface is partially exposed. Each laminated structure consists of at least one first insulated layer with a high refractive index and at least one second insulated layer with a low refractive index, where the at least one first insulated layer and the at least one second insulated layer are alternately formed to obtain said each laminated structure. Thereby, light emitted from the light-emitting layer can be reflected by the laminated structures to enhance the light-extraction efficiency.

Abstract: A second air flow control apparatus disposed between an air inlet port of an engine and an exhaust port includes a body, a base, a moving member, and a gas thread. The body has a cavity, an air inlet and an air outlet, the air inlet and the air outlet being connected through the cavity. The base is fixed in the cavity, having at least an opening for controlling the air flow through the air flowing path. The moving member is pivotably disposed in the cavity or the base by a spring force and having at least a gate and a cover configured for controlling the area of the opening. The gas thread is connected to the moving member and configured for pulling the moving member to generate a processional rotation and a resetting rotation. The rotations are configured for controlling the gate and the cover part to adjust the opening area of the opening so as to precisely control the second air flow.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a self-aligned contact is provided. A first dielectric layer is formed on a substrate having a contact region thereon. Next, a lower opening corresponding to the contact region is formed in the first dielectric layer. Thereafter, a second dielectric layer is formed on the first dielectric layer, and then an upper opening self-aligned to and communicated with the lower opening is formed in the second dielectric layer, wherein the upper opening and the lower opening constitute a self-aligned contact opening. Afterwards, the self-aligned contact opening is filled with a conductive layer.
Abstract: An image detecting apparatus includes an illumination system and a sensing system. The illumination system is for providing a light beam to a working surface to generate a reflected light beam by the working surface. The sensing system includes a sensing unit and a condensing unit. The sensing unit is disposed on a transmission path of the reflected light beam reflected by the working surface for receiving the reflected light beam. The condensing unit is disposed between the sensing unit and the working surface, wherein an optical axis of the condensing unit is deviated from a main optical axis of the reflected light beam.
Abstract: A method for checking a design rule of layout and a computer readable recording medium for storing program thereof are provided. A layout comprising a plurality of layers is united so as to generate a flag layer to check the layout, through which any information about characters in the layout can be identified. Characters in the layout can be used in general command file to inspect the checking of the design rule for the purpose of saving time and manual effort.
