Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for lobelia delivery is provided comprising: providing a lobelia solution suitable for vaporization in a compact handheld device; providing the compact handheld device; vaporizing the lobelia solution at a low temperature upon activation by a user such that an effective serving of lobelia is provided to the user. In various aspects of this embodiment the lobelia solution comprises propylene glycol, water, alcohol and glycerin, the step of vaporizing the lobelia solution comprises using a vaporizer to vaporize the lobelia solution, and the effective serving of lobelia is provided to the user in less than 20 activations, less than 15 activations, less than 10 activations, less than 5 activations, or between about 8-10 activations.

Abstract: A stabilizing belt for use by a pair of riders riding a vehicle in tandem to provide a means for the back rider to stabilize himself or herself during the ride, the stabilizing belt comprising a pad, a belt to wrap around the pad and secure the pad to a wearer, and a pair of handles attached to the pad. The pad may be uniquely contoured to provide support and comfort for the wearer. A strap may be provided for added security and comfort. The belt may further comprise handle supports for reinforcement, a cover for durability, and a pocket for versatility.
Abstract: A resonant DC to DC converter circuit receiving an input voltage and capable of delivering multiple output voltages, while maintaining excellent cross-regulation with only one power transformer. The circuit of the invention uses trailing edge modulation, along with a new amplitude modulation arrangement which allows for the use of resonance with synchronous rectification and only a single power transformer. Thus, the circuit provides for DC to DC conversion, as well as an amplitude modulation arrangement.
Abstract: A cup for a hip replacement is disposed in a first relationship in an operating room with an object providing a sighting for the cup rotation in a first plane. The cup is thereafter rotated in the first plane through a first angle (e.g., 20°-30°). The cup is then disposed in a planar relationship in the operating room with another object providing a sighting for the cup rotation in a second plane transverse (e.g. perpendicular) to the first plane. The cup is subsequently rotated through a second angle (e.g. 40°-45°) in the second plane. In this way, the cup is properly positioned in the acetabulum socket. The length of the leg receiving the hip rotation is then adjusted so that the leg length matches the length of the patient's other leg. This adjustment is provided without affecting the offset position of the center of the ball on the femur.
Abstract: An apparatus, a device, and corresponding methods for exercise which involve a frame having a substantially right-angle configuration for facilitating its accommodation into a corner of a room and for optimizing its footprint in the room, a pulley system having an adjustable resistance device using a pulley ratio technique, a fixed high pull mechanism, a fixed low pull mechanism, a cross-over exercise mechanism, and a lifting bar, the lifting bar having linear bearings and handles, and the handles subtending an angle in a range of approximately 0 degrees to approximately 45 degrees.
Abstract: An antiviral composition and a method of treating viral conditions comprising colloidal silver and an antiviral natural herb or a natural herb from the Rutaceae family, such as Ruta graveolens, Myrtaceae family, such as Melaleuca alternifolia, Cupressaceae family, such as Thuja occidentalis, and the Moraceae family, such as unripe fig, or any combination thereof.
Abstract: A circuit board configuration and method of packaging electronic component embedded into the circuit board in a manner that supports the electronic component thermally, electrically, and mechanically thereof, comprising a circuit board having a first surface and a circuit trace on the first surface; a recess or slot formed on the first surface defined by at least one sidewall that is oblique to the first surface of the circuit board; two or more plated surfaces on the at least one oblique sidewall and electrically connected to the circuit trace; and an electronic component having two or more electrical contact surfaces mounted to the two or more plated surfaces such that the electronic component is physically mounted to the oblique sidewall and in electrical communication with the circuit trace.
Abstract: An animal control arrangement having a plurality of leashes which may be attached to the collars of animals to be controlled while walking, exercising, training, or the like and which reduces the likelihood of the leashes becoming tangled.
Abstract: An improved ocean energy converter having a semi-submerged device designed to harvest energy from the ocean. Each device is connected to others to form long lines forming an interconnected array of ocean energy devices that are anchored at right angles to the prevailing ocean waves. The front and back sections of each energy module have internal ballast. Each device has a submerged inverse curved wing sections attached to floating stabilizer tubes. The trailing edge of the wings has several struts attached which support propellers that drive internal air compressors. The air compressors are connected together and connected to the other air compressors in the array of devices and those in turn are connected to a high pressure line leading underwater to an onshore air turbine electric generator connected to the local power grid.
Abstract: A board game and methods of playing a board game are described herein. The board game involves the movement of a game piece based upon the generation of a random number. The game piece is moved until the movement causes a win or loss scenario, which may be conducive to gambling and making wagers. During the movement of the game piece, the bank may inchoately match the player's wager. The inchoate “cargo” excites, tempts, and entices the players to wager and increase player involvement.
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments described herein are directed to golf club heads and golf clubs including a golf club head, including a body having a generally vertical planar face, a means for aligning the planar face with a golf ball, wherein the means is positioned behind the planar face, and an orifice for receiving a club shaft.
