Abstract: An improved link separator guide for use with a link separator to aid in the alignment and successive positioning of linked material at a severing station, at the joining segment of the linked material, the improved guide having an arcuate channel substantially conforming to a portion of the circumference of the linked material, the guide having recess semicircular indents for the drive rollers of the link separator to cooperate with the arcuate channel in order to partially encapsulate a portion of the circumference of the linked material in order to position the linked material at the severing station.

Abstract: A chimney lock attachable to the support plate of a prefabricated metal chimney having vertically downwardly depending cleanouts, the cleanouts being enclosed by an end cap, the lock comprising an adjustable, planer, longitudinal bar removably or rotatably secured to the support plate and positioned to frictionally engage and secure the end cap of the chimney cleanout.

Abstract: A separation chamber comprising a solid walled container vessel having a removably sealable top which contains an inlet port, the chamber having an inner perforated screen wall with an outlet port positioned in the side of the vessel extending into the interior of the perforated screen inner wall, a static vacuum line communicating with the outlet line and the annular space between the solid outer container wall and the inner perforated screen wall, and a self-contained disposal bag having an inlet sleeve and an outlet sleeve, said bag design to conform to the contours of the inner perforated screen wall and said inlet sleeve for extending through the inlet port and the outlet sleeve for extending outwardly through said outlet port, both sleeves having a means for securing the sleeves in a closed and secure position once the disposal bag has become filled with particulate matter, the bag, complying with disposal requirements, then being deposited in an appropriate disposal area.

Abstract: A tire shock absorber for attachment to a pneumatic tube tire or pneumatic tubeless tire for improving the smoothness of ride and decreasing road vibrations, the tire shock absorber comprising a chamber having at least one valve means which permits the unrestricted flow of air from the tubeless tire or tube tire into the chamber when the tire is subjected to intermittent road pressure, the valve means permitting the return of the displaced air to the tubeless tire or tube tire subsequent to the tire being subjected to the intermittent pressure. Abstract: There is disclosed a novel method and apparatus for automatic optic polishing. The apparatus includes a spindle arm rotatable and transversely displaceable which has removably secured thereto a cross hatched, radially cut pitch lap in contact with the optic to be polished, the pitch lap being transversely displaced across the optic while simultaneously rotating in a direction opposite to the direction in which the optic is rotated. The cross hatched radially cut pitch lap transported across the optic in the manner prescribed while submerged in a polishing compound results in an optic surface having a better than one-tenth wave deviation.

Abstract: A mounting bracket for a radar detecting unit comprised of a fixed or angularly adjustable V-shaped mount defined by two leg units, the first leg being secured to the radar detecting unit and the second leg having secured thereto at least one male electrical connector, this male connector and second leg being adapted to be inserted into a female receptacle mounted on the windshield of the vehicle, the female receptacle being in electrical communication with the power source for operation of the radar detecting unit, the V-shaped mount permitting the slidable engagement of the radar detecting unit and mount into frictional engagement and electrical contact with the female receptacle mounted on the windshield.

Abstract: There is disclosed a novel apparatus and process for the complete dewatering of sludge containing hazardous and toxic materials, the stabilization of pathogens and microorganisms contained in the sludge and the disintegration and volume reduction of the resultant solids including a blending chamber for the blending of sludge and a predetermined amount of electrolyte, the partial dewatering of the sludge and electrolyte in a filter unit, the adjustment of the resultant filter cake to a desired thickness and the measurement of the conductivity of the filter cake and the transporting of the filter cake to a disintegration chamber where the filter cake is introduced to an automatically-adjustable source of electrical energy reducing the filter cake to particulate solids and where the filter cake conductivity measurements are communicated to the blending station and the source of electrical energy for the automatic adjustment of same.
