A C-ring coupled to a lower end of the leaf spring has a circular configuration and is provided along its sides with a plurality of resilient plates inserted into a supporting member and contracted so that the antenna is resiliently fixed whether extended or retracted.
Abstract: A surgical method for assisting cardiac function utilizes a balloon initially in a collapsed configuration. The balloon is inserted into an intrapericardial space about a patient's heart and is disposed about one portion of the patient's heart. The method further includes inflating the balloon in the intrapericardial space to compress one portion of the patient's heart. A lower end portion of the patient's heart is separately compressed by an additional instrumentality to reduce ventricular volume.

Abstract: A device moves and orients spraying nozzles (4) inside a coating pan (1). The spraying nozzles (4) are carried, arranged in a line, by a shaft (5), which rotates on a horizontal axis parallel to the axis of the rotating drum (1). The shaft (5) is supported by a support frame (7), which is fastened to a bar (10), which is rotated to adjust the distance between the spraying nozzles (4) and the free surface (20) of said mass of articles (2) being treated. The shaft (5) is fastened to the lever mechanism (16,17) of a positioning member (15) for changing the inclination of the spraying nozzles (4), so as to maintain constant their orientation with respect to said free surface (20) of the mass of articles (2).
Abstract: The present invention relates to an expression vector which expresses a malaria MSA1 peptide in combination with a signal peptide and anchor peptide in a host animal. The MSA1 peptide is combined with a signal peptide and anchor peptide for expression. Chimeric peptides being expressed with both signal peptides and anchor peptides were the most effective in eliciting an immunogenic response from a vaccinated host.
Abstract: The present invention relates to synthetic, novel, preferably fatty phosphoric acid esters which, when neutralized with a neutralizing agent, is revealed as a new surface active agent. Formulations are presented which demonstrate a method for using the disclosed surface active agent to prepare stable oil-in-water, water-in-oil emulsions and various solutions of varying polarity and viscosity for use in a variety of dermatological applications, and/or wherever emulsions or solutions according to the present invention may be used.
Abstract: In a support device for printed circuit broads with a support structure, equipped with at least one board guiding groove, a locking group has the task of locking detachably the boards. The support structure has at least one transversal cutting which crosses the groove and cooperates with the locking group. The locking group includes a guiding element which slides inside a relative guiding seat. One end of the guiding element is connected to a plate provided with at least one locking element which is introduced inside the transversal cutting for locking the board.
Abstract: A binary digital logic level sensitive latch comprising a first inverter that provides an output (O1). At least one input signal (I1) and an activation signal (Clk) are provided to the first inventer both being capacitively coupled to an input of the first inverter and a switching threshold of the first inverter. The capacitance of the couplings being predetermined such that the output of the first inverter (O1) is a NOR function of the inputs signals and the activation signal O1={overscore (I1+Clk)}. A second inverter has as inputs capacitively coupled the output of the first inverter (O1), the activation signal (Clk) and an inverted pervious output signal (P) to provide output (O2). A switching threshold of the second inverter and the capacitance of the couplings being predetermined such that the output of the second inverter (O2) takes the function of: O2={overscore ((Clk×P)+O1)}.

Abstract: Filter plates in an electro-filter are cleaned using nozzles which, during spraying, are displaced longitudinally with the side edges of the filter plates while at the same time being rotated. The nozzles are mounted in a plane slightly different from the plane of the filter plates to enable the spray jets to reach the furthermost areas of the plates when the nozzles are at the greatest angle of incidence during washing.
Abstract: In a mechanism for locking curtains and the like, a sleeve rotates about a relative axis and is fastened to a roll, in coaxial relation therewith. A curtain is rolled up on the roll. A barrel features at least one radial housing opening outside of the barrel and enters freely the sleeve. The mechanism includes also one spring introduced freely in each radial housing and pushing a cylinder or a sphere against an inner surface of the sleeve.
Abstract: An I2C test single chip for testing an I2C interface of an electronic device is disclosed. The I2C test single chip is electrically connected to a test-environment-providing system outputting a test signal to the electronic device and outputting a second signal to the I2C test single chip simultaneously. The I2C test single chip includes a first interface, a second interface, and a chip body. The first interface, which is also an I2C interface, is electrically connected to the I2C interface of the electronic device for receiving a first signal from the I2C interface of the electronic device in response to the test signal. The second interface is electrically connected to the test-environment-providing system for receiving the second signal. The chip body is used for taking a processing procedure to assist the test-environment-providing system to test the I2C interface of the electronic device in response to the first signal and the second signal.
Abstract: A golf bag carrying apparatus that attaches to golf bags of various sizes easily and securely. The apparatus is structured such that a front main body has tire wheels in the front, a plate-like portion in the rear bottom and an engagement member movable in the rear bottom and an engagement member movable in the longitudinal direction and urged rearward by a spring. A main body has a plate like portion in the front bottom, an adjusting engagement member opposing to the engagement member and an adjusting screw member engaged with the adjusting engagement member. Both the main bodies are provided oppositely. Both the plate-like portions are engaged to slide in the longitudinal direction making both the main bodies constitute a truck to place a golf bag. The truck has a fastening belt. Opposing sides of both the main bodies have curved engagement wall surfaces. Both the engagement members have curved surfaces with smaller curvature.
Abstract: A device for conveying packages includes a conveyor with a running surface ending with a terminal area, a series of stationary stops and vertical prongs under the stops and above the running surface. The prongs move along a path which follows a circular trajectory in the terminal area. Packages are introduced between two heat-sealing vertical belts in an inlet area. The inlet area of the vertical belts is situated at a distance from the terminal area of the conveyor. A forwarding belt, coplanar with the running surface of the conveyor, is situated between the inlet area and the terminal area of the conveyor. The forwarding belt is operated with a speed higher than the operation speed of the conveyor, so that the packages are not subjected to the prongs action when they rotate upward in the terminal area. The forwarding belt extends from the terminal area of the conveyor, to at least the inlet area of the vertical belts, and the stops protrude to cover the major part of the forwarding belt.
