Abstract: A gas deflector valve is incorporated with an engine cooling system, and located before an inlet to a heat exchanger used to cool hot gas from the engine as part of an EGR system. The gas diverter valve conducts the gas from the engine to the heat exchanger of the EGR system when its temperature is above normal and its cooling is required, or diverts the gas to recycle the gas directly to the engine, without it passing through the heat exchanger when the gas temperature is below the minimum limits for cooling. The gas deflector valve is actuated by a pneumatic actuator responsive to an electric signal from the engine's electronic control center.
Abstract: A deflector by-pass valve for engine exhaust gas, used with an exhaust gas recirculation system on an automobile, is integrated with the cooling system, and located before the inlet for the engine's hot gas to the water/gas heat exchanger of the EGR system. The deflector by-pass valve is activated by a vacuum/pressure pneumatic system and actuated by an electric signal from the engine's electronic control center. Its main purpose is to conduct the gas through the heat exchanger/gas cooler when cooling is required, or to recycle the gas directly to the engine, without it passing through the heat exchanger when the gas is below the minimum limit for cooling.
Abstract: Used in the automobile industry, and more specifically in the driver's cab heating system, the valve is installed between the link between the engine and the radiator and the cab's heating system. It consists of a housing unit (1) which has a circular compartment (2) which houses the rotor (25) which has a side wall which protrudes a few millimeters (28) and has attached to it, by means of an “8”-shaped lever (36), a sealing unit, consisting of an O ring (33) and its support (34). This sealing unit and the side wall (28) are responsible for blocking off the flow of liquid to the cab's heating system and the by-pass, respectively. The previously mentioned compartment has a tubular inlet (3) and outlet (5) and is attached by a linking channel (14) to the adjacent cavity (10), to which is attached an outlet tube (11) and a return opening (13) and the rotor (25) is operated manually by means of an external lever (42).

The metallic belts are operated to move with the same velocity in a predetermined forward movement direction (W). Operating means adjust the mutual angular positioning of the driving pulleys. A plurality of retaining elements, first (6a) and second (6b), are removably fastened to the respective metallic belts (5a, 5b) to define corresponding seats (7) for receiving and housing the containers (2), The longitudinal dimension of each of the seats (7) can be changed by acting on the operating means. With a maximum width (200) of the longitudinal dimension of each seat (7), the first and second retaining elements (6a, 6b) defining the seat (7) are situated one beside the other and partially overlapped.

Abstract: An interchangeable electrolyte contains an additive that promotes interchangeable use between batteries and electroplating cells by limiting dendritic deposition in battery cells and promoting a smooth finish in an electroplating cell, such that fresh or spent electrolyte can be used interchangeably in these type of cells.
Abstract: A unit for feeding powdery and/or granular products to containers includes a main body and a revolving funnel, through which the product reaches the main body. Driving means are provided for rotation of the revolving funnel with respect to the main body. Conveying and stirring means are carried by the funnel and driven into rotation within the main body to prevent formation of agglomerates.
Abstract: An apparatus for the cutting-up of fish, fish fillets and the like in slices etc., comprising a feeding unit which comprises a device for the feeding of fish/fillets, the feeding unit conveying the fish/fillets to a cutting unit which cuts the fish/fillets in slices, and a unit which comprises a device for the collection and processing of data, the collection and processing device comprises a device for the registration of the length of the fish/fillet in the feeding direction and/or the weight of the fish/fillet, and in that the feeding unit comprises a plane on which the fish/fillet is placed and fed forward, the plane forming a settable and adjustable angle to the horizontal plan, a device for the automatic adjustment and setting of the angle as a function of the length and/or the weight of the fish/fillet, and also a gripping device which comprises a device for the handling of the slices from the area in which the cutting takes place.
Abstract: A connecting system for modular furniture structures includes an upright element with outer square cross-section giving the upright element four sides and four corners, featuring a trapezoidal or dovetail section longitudinal groove on each side. The longitudinal grooves gives the upright element longitudinal corners a quasi trapezoidal or dovetail shape. Trapezoidal connection small blocks are slidably inserted into the grooves and “C”-shaped clamps are slidably mounted along the longitudinal corners. Pin rods are fitted to both the trapezoidal connection small blocks and the “C”-shaped clamps by means of a threaded section forming also locking means for fixing the small blocks and clamps along the grooves and the corners. The pin rods have a circular groove all around and are introduced into bored small blocks fastened to furniture complementary structural elements and are fixed by means for threaded dowels set in engagement with the circular grooves.
Abstract: A vessel, preferably a chip, for transport and mounting of structures has a hull and at least four vertically elevated support legs and displacement apparatus for elevating the support legs so as to stabilize the ship for lifting heavy loads from the ship for mounting for example to a preinstalled base on the seabed.
Abstract: An apparatus for replacing rejected articles, in particular blister packs, includes an additional magazine situated beside the feeding line and aimed at receiving and housing, arranged in pile, the articles, which are to be withdrawn when necessary to replace the rejected articles. An elevating member is connected to the additional magazine and controls the stepwise movement of means supporting the pile of articles in step relation with accumulation of the articles inside the additional magazine or with withdrawal of a single article to be fed to the feeding line, from the top of said pile. A transferring device, situated above the additional magazine, is equipped with gripping means, which transfer the group of articles into the additional magazine, in order to form the pile of articles, and which withdraw single articles from the top of the pile in order to replace the rejected articles.
Abstract: A structure for pieces of furniture of variable configuration includes a plurality of different types of assembling elements, which are coupled with one another, in a stable and removable way, to support a desktop at a predetermined distance from the ground. The types of assembling elements include a sleeve, hollow inside and equipped, in its lateral wall, with male quick connection joint means, formed by a pair of pins. Another element is a bar for coupling with a pair of the sleeves, and being equipped, at both extremities, with female quick connectors, which include a pair of blocks featuring a longitudinal hole, which receives the pins, and a through hole containing a dowel for locking the pins. The desktop is supported by desktop bearing brackets. Moreover, legs are fastened to the sleeves to support the bar and the sleeves at a predetermined distance from the ground.
Abstract: A distributor unit (D) includes a stepwise moving conveying line (L) for conveying containers (C) through one filling unit (G), where the containers (C) are filled with a predetermined filling liquid or powder substance. In a weighing station (15,16), associated to the conveying line (L), two weighing groups (11,12) are situated on opposite sides of the conveying line (L) and have one weighing area (14a,14b) for weighing a container (C). One transfer group (30) is associated to the weighing station (15,16) and moves crosswise to the conveying line (L). The transfer group (30) transfers containers (Ci) to be weighed from the conveying line (L) to the weighing area (14b) of one of the weighing groups (12), and transfers at the same time an already weighed containers (C*i−1) from the area (14a) of the other weighing group (11) to the conveying line (L).
