Abstract: A device for mounting rotors, in particular articulated shafts, in a balancing machine has a bearing frame and a frame upper part, which is mounted on the bearing frame so as to be able to oscillate via spring bars and includes a spindle for rotatable mounting of a rotor. The frame upper part is mounted on the bearing frame via groups of spring bars, the groups being arranged at a distance from the axis of rotation of the spindle and at a distance from one another, and the longitudinal axes of the spring bars forming the spring bar groups being oriented parallel to the axis of rotation of the spindle. The spring bars forming the spring bar groups have an elongated, slender shape such that their rigidity in an axial direction is at least 100 times, in particular at least 300 times, greater than their radial flexural rigidity.
Abstract: The invention relates to a sport shoe (1) with an outer shell (2) made from injection molded plastic, comprising a front foot shell (4) and a shoe cuff (5) adjoining it. In particular, a ski shoe with at least one strap-shaped clamping means (12) disposed at least in a top end portion of the shoe cuff (5) and extending round the top end portion of the shoe cuff (5) is proposed. This strap-shaped clamping means (12) is of a non-stretch design within its entire longitudinal extension and the strap-shaped clamping means (12) is supported on at least one elastically flexible element (15) in the usage or active state, which is disposed between the shoe cuff (5) and the strap-shaped clamping means (12).

Abstract: The invention relates to a two-piece piston (1) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a piston upper piece (2) and a piston lower piece (2). A cylindrical molding (24) is arranged on the underside of the piston upper piece (2), facing away from the piston crown, lying coaxial to the piston axis (15), with two radial outward-facing hooked projections (27) on the end thereof facing away from the piston crown. The piston lower piece (6) has an opening (16) on the piston crown side, in which the cylindrical molding (24) with the projections (27) is introduced and rotated on assembly of the piston upper piece (2) on the piston lower piece (6), such that the projections (27) engage behind the edge of the opening (16).
Abstract: A spring hinge between a bow cheek and a bow of a pair of spectacles is described, having two hinge parts (3, 4), which are each associated with one of these spectacle parts (1, 2), one of which forms a bearing fork (6) having a hinge axis (5) for receiving the other hinge part (4), which is guided so it is displaceable in a housing (9) with the aid of a U-shaped sliding part (7), and having a coiled spring (12) situated between the two legs (11) of the sliding part (7), which is supported on one side on a web (13) of the sliding part (7) connecting the two legs (11) and on the other side on a buttress (14), which engages through a through opening (16) of the associated hinge part (4), which runs coaxially to the coiled spring (12), in a nut thread (15) of the housing (9) which is coaxial to the coiled spring (12).
Abstract: A two-piece piston for an internal combustion engine has an upper piece and a lower piece, the lower piece having an upper base part with an opening lying coaxial to the piston axis into which a pin on the upper piece is inserted. The upper piece is connected to the lower piece with a hexagonal nut screwed onto the pin. A resilient sleeve is arranged between the upper piece and the lower piece comprising an inwardly directed collar on the against which the upper face of the hexagonal nut lies and in the region facing away from the piston crown, a contact surface facing the piston crown lying on a surface on the inner side of the opening. An economically produced two-piece piston results with a resilient sleeve between both screwed piston pieces which exerts a pre-tensioning and thus provides security for the screw connection.
Abstract: The invention describes a ski (2) or a snowboard in the form of a board-type gliding device (1). By reference to the width (13) of the gliding device (1), at least one recess (14) is provided in its middle portion extending in its depth direction—arrow (15)—from the top face (7) of the gliding device (1) in the direction towards the running surface facing (10) and disposed in its longitudinal direction essentially parallel with the longitudinal direction of the gliding device (1) with a view to causing a cross-sectional weakening. At least one manually adjustable adjusting means (20) is provided, which is designed to produce an individually adjustable change in the load-dependent deformability of the cross-sectional shape or to produce an individually adjustable limit to the maximum permissible load-dependent cross-sectional deformation of the gliding device (1).
Abstract: The transmission antenna (10) of the high-resolution synthetic aperture side view radar system comprises a plurality of sub-apertures (7, 8, 9). In each individual transmission pulse, said sub-apertures are controlled in such a manner that a spatiotemporally non-separable multi-dimensional high-frequency waveform is produced as an transmission signal pulse form, such that the modulation of each transmission pulse has a spatiotemporal diversity which is not described by the product having functions which are independent from each other and which are dependent on, respectively, only one spatial dimension. The thus produced transmission pulse form is combined to a capture-sided spatial filtering by means of digital beamforming adapted to said transmission signal pulse form.

Abstract: Disclosed is a novel method for creating local contacts in solar cells. In the method, a surface passivation that has been applied to a semiconductor substrate is locally etched away using a plasma process with the help of a thin stretched, elastic foil. If necessary, deep doping gradients are then locally created at the same points by means of a hydrogen plasma treatment with the help of thermal donors so as to increase the diffusion length of the charge carriers in the direction of the contacts. Finally, local heterostructure contacts are applied through the same mask openings. The contacts are characterized by a much lower saturation current than common diffused contacts and are therefore particularly suitable for high-performance solar cells.

Abstract: A process for hobble lathing, and preferred process applications, for the cutting of workpieces with non-circular or discontinuous contours on programmable lathes. The use and combination of a special program e.g. of thread cycles and hobble values for the diameter and/or the longitudinal axis or the pitch, the angle of the spindle, in option of a reciprocal-step technique and interleaved machining sequences opens up virtually infinite possibilities. The preferred applications of the process allow special threads to be cut on screw-in bodies, e.g. screw-in artificial hip joint sockets and bone screws for example with neutral or virtually any angle of pitch or relief of the thread blade as well as e.g. internal and external contours on workpieces for circular wedge connections. A particularly beneficial hip joint socket is presented comprising so-called screw or threaded surfaces.
Abstract: An apparatus is described for burning organic substances, comprising a horizontal combustion chamber (2) provided in a housing (1) and heat-insulated against said housing (1), and a counter-flow heat exchanger (8) which preheats the combustion air with the help of the hot exhaust gases from the combustion chamber (2) and which forms a flow duct (10) for the combustion air between the combustion chamber (2) and a heat-exchanger wall (9) enclosing the combustion chamber (2), as well as a flow duct (11) for the hot exhaust gases on the side of the heat-exchanger wall (9) averted from the combustion chamber (2).
Abstract: A method for the drawing of a longitudinal workpiece wherein drawing forces required for the drawing are applied by means of at least a sprocket chain comprising link plates wherein the drawing forces are introduced from the workpiece via the link plates into the sprocket chain as a result of which the latter can be constructed lighter and apply greater drawing forces.
