Abstract: A locking mechanism for installing between a master cylinder and a brake line includes a housing having an internal bore, an inlet port, a passage, and an outlet port. A reciprocating piston is movable within the bore. A locking lever is coupled to the reciprocating piston for actuating the reciprocating piston. A fastener having an internal fluid passage for providing fluid communication between the passage and the master cylinder secures the housing to the master cylinder. The locking lever is moveable between a first position, wherein the hydraulic fluid can flow freely between the master cylinder and the brake line for engaging and disengaging the vehicle brake and a second position, wherein the hydraulic fluid is prevented from returning to the master cylinder for maintaining the vehicle brake in an engaged state.
Abstract: A laminate membrane having an elastomer body and a contact layer applied to the elastomer body. The contact layer is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). A barrier layer configured as a permeation barrier is additionally provided, which is disposed between the contact layer and the elastomer body, or applied to the side of the contact layer that faces away from the elastomer body.

To solve this problem, a design of the curved contour is optimized dynamically in terms of flow.
Abstract: In an adjustment device for the alignment of supporting parts on structures having inherent dimensional tolerances, in particular in an aircraft fuselage, by means of joining surfaces, the joining surfaces form positive shapes and negative shapes corresponding with one another in a form fit. Abstract: A method is for determining the axle geometry of a vehicle, wherein light of a given structure is projected onto a vehicle wheel, and the diffusely reflected light can be analyzed in order to determine the orientation of the plane of the vehicle wheel. Several lines of a laser light generated by means of one or several laser light sources are projected on the wheel, and one or several of these lines fades in and/or out in temporal succession. The reflected light is captured by means of one or several cameras.

Abstract: Resettable circuit interrupting devices, such as GFCI devices, that include reverse wiring protection, and optionally an independent trip portions and/or a reset lockout portion are provided. The reverse wiring protection operates at both the line and load sides of the device so that in the event line side wiring to the device is improperly connected to the load side, fault protection for the device remains. The trip portion operates independently of a circuit interrupting portion used to break the electrical continuity in one or more conductive paths in the device. The reset lockout portion prevents the reestablishing of electrical continuity in open conductive paths if the circuit interrupting portion is non-operational, if an open neutral condition exists or if the device is reverse wired. Methods for ensuring a reset lock out state before shipment are provided.

Abstract: In the case of a method for the gastight packaging of objects using a film material fitting tightly on the objects using a vacuum, the object being placed in a tray and a deep-drawable film being attached to the tray for sealing, it is provided that a tray having at least one peripheral rim is used to form the packaging, the deep-drawable film is cut to the size of the peripheral rim, and that the deep-drawable film is subsequently and/or simultaneously applied to the peripheral rim in a gastight manner. A device preferably for carrying out this method has at least one cutting device for the deep-drawable film.
Abstract: A transceiver connector adapted to be connected to a mating connector having a fitting hole and a latch. A metal hood serving as a housing is configured to be insertable into the fitting hole in an inserting direction. The transceiver connector includes a lever formed from a single metal plate and slidable with respect to the housing in the inserting direction and a detaching direction opposite to the inserting direction. The housing has a locking stepped portion adapted to engage the latch in the detaching direction. The lever has an inclined surface and a latch driving convex portion serving as an engagement releasing portion adapted to release engagement between the latch and the locking stepped portion by sliding of the lever, and a support piece continuous from the latch driving convex portion, folded back, and supported by the housing.

Abstract: The invention relates to the fact that a common industrial neutron interrogation screening requirement is that a high throughput rate be accommodated by the screening system. The accumulation of elemental abundance ratio spectral data to minimize statistical uncertainty is a function of the neutron flux passing through the subject. If the subject passes through a neutron beam, with a strictly limited time window for exposure, the flux must be sufficient to accumulate the required statistics. The level of neutron flux necessary may exceed the cost effective limits of the selected neutron source means. Exposure time window dilation is disclosed through a class of system configurations which become practical for reduction to practice by utilization of linear neutron source topology neutron generators. This disclosure is concerned with example embodiments which utilize the length, width, thickness and segmentation of the source emission zone within an appropriate neutron source.
