  • Patent number: 6988734
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool-receiving element, the tool-clamping device thereof being directly integrated into the rotating machine. A multiple-edge longitudinal recess (21,121,221), especially a hexagonal recess, extends into the drive shaft (18,118,218) from the output-side front end thereof. A clamping sleeve (25,25?,125,225) is received on the section of the drive shalt comprising the tool-receiving element, in the form of a tool-clamping device, by which means at least one locking element (24,124,224) received in a radial recess penetrating the shell of the tool-receiving element can be actuated in a locking position protruding radially into the tool-receiving element, and can be released in an unlocking position for radial yielding.

  • Patent number: 6986595
Abstract: In motor vehicles the problem often arises that additional lighting is required in the cabin, in places where a voltage supply and the mounting thereof in the cockpit can not satisfactorily be resolved. A plug-in rechargeable lamp (1) has thus been developed, which may be plugged into the 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket with a light diode (13) as light source, which gives a multi-application light source which may be used anywhere. The use of a light diode renders the lamp insensitive to shock effects and contributes to the lifespan thereof. The threshold voltage of the light diode (13) is optimally matched to the final discharge voltage of the applied accumulator cells, such that a fill discharge of the accumulators is practically excluded.

  • Patent number: 6976921
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotationally symmetrical coupling comprising an annular hub made of a rigid material, which is surrounded by an outer ring made of a rubber-elastic material. The coupling also comprises an outer contouring, which is located on the outer diameter and which is provided for positively transmitting torques, whereby the outer ring is reinforced by an embedded, annular, rigid solid body. The aim of the invention is to achieve a quieter operation of a coupling of the aforementioned type and to better protect this coupling from becoming damaged. To these ends, the invention provides that the rubber-elastic material is silicone and that the annular, rigid solid body, on the outside, has a shape, which is similar to that of the outer contouring of the outer ring and which maintains, over the circumference, a nearly constant distance from the outer contouring of the outer ring. The rigid solid body is preferably comprised of a curved, metallic strip material having a constant thickness.
