  • Patent number: 5779739
Abstract: Dye mixtures of fiber-reactive azo dyes and their use for dyeing hydroxy- and/or carboxamido-containing fiber materialRed-dyeing fiber-reactive phenylazoaminonaphthol dyes, yellow-dyeing fiber-reactive phenylazoaminobenzene dyes, blue-dyeing fiber-reactive copper formazan dyes and navy-dyeing fiber-reactive disazo dyes of the formulae (1) to (5) as claimed and defined in claim 1 are described which are suitable for dyeing hydroxy- and/or carboxamido-containing fiber material, such as cellulose fiber materials, wool and synthetic polyamide fibers individually or together or some of them together or as a mixture in trichromatic dyeing methods. During the dyeing process a definite hue within the color triangle can be obtained and kept constant by adding the individual dye solutions of the individual dyes and/or mixtures of some of the dyes in a controlled manner by means of the ATR measurement technique.

  • Patent number: 5775505
Abstract: An easy-opening blister card package is disclosed having a rigid container sheet with cavities formed in it and a closure sheet to seal the cavities. Between the cavities are finger tabs that are accessible by detaching individual sections of the blister card package. Once a section is detached, a finger tab is exposed which is pulled to form a larger pull tab. The pull tab is sufficiently large to allow the user to comfortably grasp it to peel apart the sealed layers. An alternate embodiment of the invention discloses a child-resistant blister card package wherein an additional seal must be broken to form the pull tab.

  • Patent number: 5777390
Abstract: An improved metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) photodiode, specifically a new high responsivity AND high bandwidth photodetector, resulting in a high gain-bandwidth product is disclosed. The disclosed device is an MSM photodiode in which the anode and cathode are made of different materials of differing opacity and possibly including different electrode dimensions as well. Using an opaque anode and a transparent cathode reduces surface reflections off the opaque electrodes allowing more light to be absorbed within the active semiconductor region. However, it concurrently keeps the transit distance for the slower moving holes to a minimum. Thus, the long tail in the impulse response due to hole collection is minimized, resulting in increased bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 5771923
Abstract: An electrically controlled faucet is disclosed which is operable by pushing a button or placing hands within the operating range of a sensor. The faucet is mounted to a sink deck or like surface using specially configured gasket means which insure against slippage of the faucet on the deck. The gasketing means provide special channels through which electrical operating wires can be securely passed from the faucet to operating means below the sink deck. These operating means include a solenoid valve that controls fluid flow through the faucet and a temperature control valve fluidly linked to the solenoid valve. Solenoid disabling pressure buildup in the line linking the temperature control valve and solenoid is bled through special bleed means in the temperature control valve inlets.
