Patent number: 5992669Abstract: A fuel tank cap structure and method of manufacturing which prevents a parting line formed on a cover member in the process of injection molding from being undesirably shaven. The fuel tank cap includes a casing body and a cover member that is rotatable in one direction relative to the casing body via a ratchet mechanism when a torque of or above a predetermined level is applied to the cover member. The cover member has fitting projections that are held by an outer ring member of the casing body. A slide mold is used for manufacturing the cover member having the fitting projections that are undercut in the injection molding. This causes a parting line to be formed on a top wall of the cover member. Anti-shaving projections formed at substantially the same height as that of the parting line prevent the parting line from being slid against the outer ring member and shaven.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 1998Date of Patent: November 30, 1999Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroyuki Hagano, Masayuki Nakagawa

Patent number: 5992672Abstract: A fuel tank cap structure which enables a cover member to be readily attached to a casing body. The fuel tank cap includes the casing body and the cover member that is rotatable in one direction relative to the casing body via a ratchet mechanism when a torque of or above a predetermined level is applied to the cover member. The cover member has fitting projections that are held by an outer ring member of the casing body. The outer ring member has a plurality of slits, which cause the outer ring member to be elastically deformed when riding over the fitting projections, thereby facilitating the engagement of the fitting projections with the outer ring member.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 1998Date of Patent: November 30, 1999Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroyuki Hagano, Masayuki Nakagawa

Patent number: 5985281Abstract: A two component system for therapeutic treatment of a host, having a first component comprising a targeting moiety capable of binding with a tumour associated antigen, linked to a mutated enzyme capable of converting a prodrug into an antineoplastic drug, and a second component comprising a prodrug convertible under the influence of the mutated enzyme to the antineoplastic drug. The mutated enzyme is a mutated form of a natural host enzyme which recognizes its natural substrate by an ion pair interaction with the substrate, wherein the mutated enzyme and prodrug have structures such that the polarity of the mutated enzyme/prodrug ion pair interaction is reversed relative to the natural host enzyme/natural substrate ion pair interaction. The first component is substantially non-immunogenic in the host and the prodrug second component is not significantly convertible into antineoplastic drug in the host by natural unmutated host enzyme.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 1997Date of Patent: November 16, 1999Assignee: Zeneca LimitedInventors: Christopher John Taylorson, Hendrikus Johannes Eggelte, Antonio Tarragona-Fiol, Brian Robert Rabin, Francis Thomas Boyle, John Frederick Hennam, David Charles Blakey, Peter Robert Marsham, David William Heaton, David Huw Davies, Anthony Michael Slater, Laurent Francois Andre Hennequin
