A plurality of perforations are formed into the hair attachment flap where the preferred perforations are slits which may be shaped like arrow heads. A method of attaching a hair replacement device to a wearer's head is disclosed whereby the wearer's own natural hair is pulled through the perforations on the hair attachment flap and secured using adhesive.
