  • Patent number: 7163102
Abstract: Disposable packaging, comprising a container (1) that defines a main compartment (2) and at least an additional compartment (3). The container (1) is bowl-shaped and is closed on the upper side by a film, or by a cover, in order to prevent the main food component contained inside the main compartment (2)—from coming out. Moreover, the additional compartment (3) is closed by a slidable sealing system of the cylinder-piston type. In the closure position of the piston, which is formed by a plug (14), the food component contained in the additional compartment (3) cannot mix with the food component located in the main compartment (2), whereas in the opening position of the plug (14), the dressing/seasoning may leak from the additional compartment (3) through lateral apertures of the plug (14), at the time the user turns over and shakes the packaging.

  • Patent number: 7040218
Abstract: A stirring coffee press for brewing beverage grounds, such coffee or tea, while simultaneously compressing and agitating the grounds in a single container. The stirring coffee press includes a container with a fitted lid, a plunger assembly slidably and rotatably received within the container and being attached to a hollow shaft which extends out through an opening in the lid, and a blade assembly attached to a shaft that extends and exits through the hollow shaft of the plunger assembly. The hollow shaft of the plunger assembly has a handle attached to the end of the hollow shaft, wherein the plunger handle is adapted to be received and retained into the aperture in the lid, thereby preventing the plunger assembly from rotating. The blade assembly shaft has a knob attached to its open end allowing the blade assembly to be freely rotated.

  • Patent number: 7013847
Abstract: The invention relates to a heading gas injection system (HGIS) direct injection system. The invention makes it possible to atomize fuel mixtures and fuels of all types and to directly inject them into the combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing, spark-ignition internal combustion engine of all designs. This is achieved by means of a heating element (10), a fuel injection nozzle (1) a temperature probe (5), electrical heating resistors (diodes) (2), an electromagnetic valve (3) and a pressure gauge (14). The control unit (8) is provided for controlling these individual components. This control unit (8) also has the task of ensuring that the inlet valve (4), with the flow meter (6), ensures an optimal pollutant-free and low-pollutant operation. A pollutant-free operation of an internal combustion engine can be ensured when using methanol, ethanol, water mixture, hereby signifying a zero pollutant emission.

  • Patent number: 6977329
Abstract: A musically resonant apparatus with continuously variable resonances and methods for increasing the tonal complexity and quality of live and recorded musical instruments utilizes the position of one or more movable resonators to determine the freely resonant dimensions of the resonators comprising the apparatus. The dimensions and materials of this apparatus are scaled and selected to resonate in one or more musically relevant frequency ranges for the instrument and musical situation it is to be used with. The apparatus is mechanically coupled to a microphonic or vibrationally sensitive component in the chain of equipment between a musician and the listener. The continuous adjustability of one or more resonators allows the user to easily select the best complimentary resonances. This improves an instrument's tonal complexity, and thus its tonal quality at the listener's ears quickly, easily, and economically without invasive techniques.

  • Patent number: 6892909
Abstract: A pneumatic particulate dispensing system having a hopper for storing particulate material, such as animal feed, fertilizers, pesticides and the like. The hopper is connected to a T-fitting which encloses a velocity tube. An air blowing unit is connected to the T-fitting and the velocity tube through an interchangeable adaptor allowing for a variety of air blowing units to be installed. An adjustable rotary valve extends into the interior of the hopper from the T-fitting allowing for a user to adjust the amount of particulate material to be dispensed adjacent the velocity tube. A discharge tube is connected to the T-fitting downstream of the velocity tube, wherein the discharge tube has a rotating elbow for allowing the user to adjust the dispensing direction. A variety of nozzles can be attached to the end of the discharge tube. A support frame having a hitch insert and cradles is used to support and transport the particulate dispensing system to remote locations.

  • Patent number: 6727426
Abstract: The audio cable is having a multi-conductor cable, two or more conductor assemblies, at least one partition for creating additional mechanical resonances, and appropriate connectors, coverings, insulation and labels each of which features selected mechanical resonances. The partitions can be a hinge partition produced from selectively twisting the conductor assemblies, or a mass partition produced by fastening either a wire binding wound over the conductor assembly or a conductor of different mass from that of the conductor assembly and thereto. The audio cable resonances are adjusted by dividing the conductor assembly into multiple partitions. The length, mass, color and compliance of each partition are adjustable to produce resulting mechanical resonances, thereby determining the sound of the audio cable when used with microphonic or vibrationally-sensitive electronics.

  • Patent number: 6505101
Abstract: A remote vehicle identification and disabling system for identifying and controlling a vehicles engine. The system has a limited ranged programmable transceiver unit mounted in a non-civilian vehicle for sending and receiving a signal through an antenna located in the grille. A control and display unit is located in the cab that allows access to an onboard computer for accessing a remote police database. The system also has a civilian vehicle mounted multiple channel transceiver that controls a fail-open valve which is connected to a fuel line of the civilian vehicle to control the amount of fuel supplied to the engine. The civilian vehicle unit transmits an identification signal to the non-civilian unit upon request and if the civilian unit receives the identical identification signal from the non-civilian unit then the valve will be activated. A remote control unit transmitting at a frequency other than the non-civilian unit can be used to activate the valve.

  • Patent number: 6362749
Abstract: An emergency vehicle detection system for alerting a driver of an approaching emergency vehicle includes a sound signal-producing unit mounted on an emergency vehicle, a sound signal detection unit mounted on a non-emergency vehicle, and a display unit remotely located on the non-emergency vehicle. The sound signal-producing unit has a sound generator for producing and transmitting a sound signal. A switch is used for controlling the operation of the sound generator in combination with a siren. The sound signal detection unit has at least one sound transducer for detecting sound signals and producing an electric current upon detection of a signal. A signal comparator is connected to the sound transducers for comparing the currents from the transducers to preprogrammed patterns. If there is matching pattern, a signal output encoder connected to the signal comparator constructs an encoded signal and transmits the encoded signal to a remotely located display unit through a transmitter.
