Abstract: Film lamination vehicles and methods that can be used to laminate films to surfaces are disclosed. The vehicles and methods use a moving lamination device that forms a lamination front over which the film is applied to the surface. The lamination front complies to irregularities in the surface such as dips, bumps, etc. while providing substantially uniform pressure such that the film conforms to the surface.

Abstract: The present invention features a cleaning implement, such as a mop, that may be used for cleaning a floor. The mop of the invention typically includes a mop head and a handle pivotally connected to the mop head. The mop head also includes means for securing a mop media, typically a flexible disposable cleaning sheet, to the mop head. The mop may be passed over the floor with one side of the cleaning sheet presented for cleaning the floor. The mop head may then be inverted with the other side of the cleaning sheet presented for further cleaning of the floor.

Abstract: A method of making a pressure-sensitive adhesive assembly, the method including coating a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that includes a silicone polymer on a first major surface of a first release liner to form a first layer, coating a composition on the first layer to form a second layer, the composition of the second layer including an elastomer, at least one of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the first layer and the composition of the second layer being in an uncured state during the coating of the second layer, and curing at least one of the first layer and the second layer, the first pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the multi-layer assembly exhibiting a release force to the release liner of no greater than 100 gram per 0.5 inch width after the multi-layer assembly has been stored for 46 days at 120° F.

Abstract: A portable air treatment device and system including a filter retaining mechanism for selectively retaining a replaceable filter assembly. The filter retaining mechanism includes a rigid, non-moveable body that reduces a size of an access opening to a filter chamber otherwise formed by the air treatment device housing, along with a bearing surface. The rigid body serves as a catch or latch, preventing unexpected dislodgement of a filter assembly from the chamber. The bearing surface is also rigid and non-moveable, and provides a means for easily inserting and removing a primarily non-permanently deflectable filter assembly about the rigid body.

Abstract: A carton for storing and displaying a plurality of articles including a bottom panel, front and rear panels, first and second side panels, and a top panel. The front and rear panels extend from opposing first and second edges of the bottom panel. The first and second side panels extend from opposing third and fourth edges of the bottom panel. The top panel extends from the rear and second side panels opposite the bottom panel. A gap is defined between corresponding edges of the first side panel and the front panel. A front face is at least partially defined by the front panel, a side face is at least partially defined by the first side panel, and a top face is at least partially defined by the top panel. The carton is configured to permit viewing of contained articles from the front face, the side face, and the top face.

Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus, system, and method for enhancing air purification efficiency regarding a gaseous medium passing through an opening. Included is a high voltage source that creates an effective voltage field across the opening; and at least one charge bleeding element constructed and arranged to maintain an effective voltage field across the opening.

Abstract: Conformable pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes which comprise a layer of polymeric foam in the backing and may be adhered firmly to a substrate and thereafter removed therefrom after only being stretched at an angle no greater than about 35° from the surface of the substrate. Articles for mounting an object such as a picture to a surface such as a wall comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the invention are also described.

Abstract: A hand-held, manually-operated sanding tool includes a base body, a handle, and a coupling device. The base body defines an aperture extending from a first surface of the base body to a second surface of the base body. The handle includes a grip and a post. The coupling device is coupled with the post of the handle through the aperture. The handle and the coupling device are positioned near opposite surfaces of the base body to rotatably couple the handle to the base body such that the handle is rotatable about an axis defined by the post.
