Abstract: A cutting-free method for making a hologram sticker includes the steps of adding a releasing layer on a base; plating a metal layer on the releasing layer; printing an epoxy layer with a holographic pattern on the metal layer; chemically etching the metal layer not covered by the epoxy layer together to remove the excess metal layer; washing the residual layers; drying the washed and etched layers; applying an adhesive layer on top of the washed epoxy layer and applying a releasing layer on top of the adhesive layer.
Abstract: A movable mechanical doll has a seat. A shoulder-arm part and a head part (40) are mounted on the seat. A hollow body covers the seat and the shoulder-arm part (20). A headpiece (60) covers the head part (40) and has a mouth. When motors of the doll are actuated, the doll can swing the shoulders and the arms, turn the head and open/close the mouth.

Abstract: A temperature sensitive circuit breaker includes two contacts electrically mounted on a circuit board and an insulating pivot seat attached to the circuit board between the two contacts. A lever has a first end pivotally connected to the pivot seat and connected to one of the contacts, and a second end electrically connected to the other contact. A non-metallic expansive rod is mounted on the circuit board below the lever to push the lever upward to make the second end of lever separate from the contact when a high temperature on the circuit board is transferred to the expansive rod. The breaking member causes a high temperature to melt itself when a current passes through the breaking member to open a circuit on the circuit board.
Abstract: A method and device for image processing free from full loss of an entire vector in a halftone image relatively low in density. An N*N mask matrix is generated for a given density, based on an N*N dither matrix used in an area gradation method which represents a halftone image with binary (bi-level) image data from multi-level image data. In a case of N*N mask matrix relatively low in density, rearrangements on a column and row basis are performed (N*N−1) times to generate (N*N−1) number of N*N mask matrices which are then combined with the original N*N mask matrix to form an (N*N)*(N*N) mask matrix. Thus, for a halftone image relatively low in density, a binary halftone image is generated via the (N*N)*(N*N) mask matrix from multi-level image data.
Abstract: A hand held test instrument measures cable lengths by applying a square wave signal to a conductor of a pair and detects the induced current in the other conductor of the pair. A synchronous detector measures the induced current, which is representative of the capacitance of the cable, which is representative of the length of the cable.

Abstract: A circuit breaker includes a shell with a hollow button at the top. The button has an indicator light received therein and a central tab extending downward. A first blade, a second blade and a grounding prong extend out of the shell through the bottom of the shell. A curved metal piece is housed in the shell and electrically and pivotally connected to an inner end of the second blade. A helical spring is mounted around the tab and compressed between the hollow button and the curved metal piece, and additionally a resistor is held in the shell and electrically connected to the grounding prong. The indicator light has a first terminal electrically connected with the helical spring and a second terminal selectively engaged with the resistor.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to the field of machine-tooling and essentially relates to a continuously variable transmission that comprises a central shaft (1), an epicycle (5) having outer central discs (4) attached thereon, solar wheels in the form of inner central discs (2), a carrier (6), a plurality of intermediate friction discs (3) mounted in the support (6) using axes (7) as well as rotating levers (12) and a mechanism for the combined modification of the transmission ratio and of the pressure. The latter includes power members applying an axial action (11) which are arranged on the end sides of all the above-mentioned central friction discs (2, 4), or else members pressing on the rotating levers as well as power members applying an axial action which are arranged on the outer side of the central friction discs so as to ensure contact in predetermined annular areas.
Abstract: A burner has a mixing tube, a side tube, an auxiliary tube and a fire bridge. The auxiliary tube with a diameter smaller than that of the mixing tube is mounted above the mixing tube and is connected to the control valve connected to the mixing tube. Multiple orifices are defined in the top of the auxiliary tube. The fire bridge is connected between the mixing tube and the auxiliary. Multiple orifices are defined in the top of the fire bridge. Accordingly, the flames can be switched between the side tube and the auxiliary tube. With a diameter of the auxiliary tube being small relative to the mixing tube, the flame on the auxiliary tube will not go out even when a small quantity of gas is led into the auxiliary tube. Consequently, the burner can provide a reliable low level heat function.
Abstract: Fluid and air nozzle assemblies are capable of propelling streams of a cleaning fluid and air mixture onto a vehicle vision device, visible indicator, or sensor. These nozzle assemblies are mounted on a vehicle adjacent to the vehicle vision device, visible indicator, or sensor and positioned such that liquid and air jets from the nozzles intersect prior to impinging upon the vehicle vision device, visible indicator, or sensor to form a spray mixture that cleans the vehicle vision device, visible indicator, or sensor. These nozzle assemblies have an adjustment feature for the purpose of aiming the fluid-air spray toward the vehicle vision device, visible indicator, or sensor.

Abstract: A reference wavelength light generating apparatus is disclosed in which light emitted from a light source is branched by a light branching unit, one of the branched lights is extracted as a measuring beam and the other is extracted as reference wavelength light by passing through a collimator and an absorbing member and then being reflected by a reflecting member to return to the branching unit.
