  • Patent number: 7054174
Abstract: A series power switch bridge having the ability of automatic voltage-sharing, which belongs to the field of electric controlling equipments. It consists of a power switch bridge and a dynamic-static voltage-sharing absorption circuit (DRwC) bridge. The very power switch bridge is constituted of several power switches in series. The number of DRwC circuits in the dynamic-static voltage-sharing absorption circuit bridge is correspondence with the number of power switches. The positive terminal and the negative terminal of every DRwC circuit and the corresponding power switch are connected respectively. The very DRwC circuit consists of a diode (D), a capacitance (C) and a voltage regulator (Rw), and the diode (D) is connected in series with the circuit of the voltage regulator (Rw) and the capacitance (C) which are in parallel. The serial DRwC circuit can deal the serial power switch with static voltage-sharing, dynamic voltage-sharing and absorption of the bounce voltage.

  • Patent number: 7053376
Abstract: A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention includes an X-ray source for emitting an X-ray, a ?-ray detecting section for outputting a detection signal of a ?-ray, and an X-ray detecting section for outputting a detecting signal of an X-ray. The X-ray source moves around a bed for placing an examinee. The ?-ray detecting section has a plurality of radiation detectors aligned in the longitudinal direction of the bed and placed around the bed. The X-ray detecting section is positioned in a region formed between one end and the other end of the ?-ray detecting section in the longitudinal direction of the bed. The X-ray source is also positioned in the region. Since the X-ray detecting section is placed in the region, it is possible to accurately combine a PET image and an X-ray computed tomographic image.

  • Patent number: 7053607
Abstract: A magnetic sensor 10 includes GMR elements 11–18, and heating coils 21–24 serving as heat generating elements. The elements 11–14 and 15–18 are bridge-interconnected to constitute X-axis and Y-axis sensors, respectively. The heating coils 21, 22, 23, and 24 are disposed adjacent to the elements 11 and 12, the elements 13 and 14, the elements 15 and 16, and the elements 17 and 18, respectively. The heating coils 21–24, when electrically energized, heat mainly the adjacent elements. Therefore, the elements can be heated and cooled in a short period of time in which constant geomagnetism can be ensured. Data for compensation of temperature-dependent characteristic (ratio of change in sensor output value to variation in element temperature) is obtained on the basis of the temperatures of the elements before and after the heating, and the magnetic sensor outputs before and after the heating. Subsequently, the temperature characteristics of the elements are compensated on the basis of the data.

  • Patent number: 7053389
Abstract: The invention provides a charged particle therapy system capable of increasing the number of patients treated. An irradiation filed forming apparatus for irradiating a charged particle beam extracted from a charged particle beam generator to an irradiation target includes an RMW device. The RMW device comprises a housing and an RMW disposed within the housing. A rotary shaft of the RMW is rotatably mounted to the housing. The RMW device is detachably installed in an RMW holding member provided in a casing of the irradiation filed forming apparatus. The housing can be placed in contact with the RMW holding member, and hence positioning of the rotary shaft of the RMW to a predetermined position can be performed in a short time. This contributes to cutting a time required for treatment per patient and increasing the number of patients treated.

  • Patent number: 7054961
Abstract: A data transfer system allowing high-quality transfer of streaming data through a network having a relatively large delay variation in data delivery is disclosed. When transferring streaming data in packets from a server computer to a client computer through a repeater provided in the network, the repeater buffers a streaming packet for a set time period before forwarding it to the client computer. The set time period is determined so that a receiving time interval of packets at the client computer is substantially equal to a sending time interval of packets at the server computer.

  • Patent number: 7053751
Abstract: A resistance hybrid is disclosed including m+1 unit resistors connected in series, to further be connected in series between two resistance elements, one Rbottom and the other Rtop. Each unit resistor SBn includes an error correction resistance element R1dn and a set resistance element RTn connected in series, and further connected in parallel to a fuse RLn. In addition, the error correction resistance element R1dn is formed such that the combined resistance of the fuse RLn, set resistance element RTn, and error correction resistance element R1dn, is equal to the resistance value of the error correction resistance element R1dn. The value of resistance of the unit resistor SBn after the disconnection increases by the resistance value of set resistance element RTn, to thereby obviating the error possibly caused by the disconnection, which is originated from the resistance value of the fuse RLn.

  • Patent number: 7052922
Abstract: A method and apparatus for plating facilitates the plating of a small contact feature of a wafer die while providing a relatively stable plating bath. The method utilizes a supplemental plating structure that is larger than a die contact that is to be plated. The supplemental plating structure may be located on the wafer, and is conductively connected to the die contact. Conductive connection between the die contact and the supplemental plating structure facilitates the plating of the die contact. The supplemental plating structure also can be used to probe test the die prior to singulation.

  • Patent number: 7050094
Abstract: Wide dynamic range operation is used to write a signal in a freeze-frame pixel into the memory twice, first after short integration and then after long integration. The wide dynamic range operation allows the intra-scene dynamic range of images to be extended by combining the image taken with a short exposure time with the image taken with a long exposure time. A freeze-frame pixel is based on voltage sharing between the photodetector PD and the analog memory. Thus, with wide dynamic range operation, the resulting voltage in the memory may be a linear superposition of the two signals representing a bright and a dark image after two operations of sampling.

  • Patent number: 7049184
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a semiconductor thin film is provided which can form its crystal grains having a uniform direction of crystal growth and being large in size and a manufacturing equipment using the above method, and a method for manufacturing a thin film transistor. In the above method, by applying an energy beam partially intercepted by a light-shielding element, melt and re-crystallization occur with a light-shielded region as a starting point. The irradiation of the beam gives energy to the light-shielded region of the silicon thin film so that melt and re-crystallization occur with the light-shielded region as the starting point and so that a local temperature gradient in the light-shielded region is made to be 1200° C./?m or more. In the manufacturing method, a resolution of an optical system used to apply the energy beam is preferably 4 ?m or less.
