    Abstract: An electrical wall plug outlet enclosure and safety device wherein a face plate is detachably mounted to the wall over the electrical wall plug outlet and in turn generally rectangular but tapered cover is detachably mounted to the face plate to prevent touching of the prongs of an inserted electrical plug and to prevent the insertion of an object, especially a metal object, into the electrical outlet when a plug is not inserted. The cover further has openings at opposite ends for passage of an electrical cord or cords attached at one end to an electrical plug and at its other end to an electrical appliance. The face plate has flexible wings or tabs extending horizontally outwardly from the approximate mid-portion of the face plate for engagement with longitudinally extending slots or openings formed on opposite sides of the cover to detachably secure the cover to the face plate.

    Abstract: An apparatus for attachment over a hub of a vehicle wheel to prevent its rotation and prevent the wheel from being removed from its axle. The apparatus has a generally triangular shaped shell having an upper and lower triangular plate spaced apart by a series of vertical pins. The apexes of the triangular plates have openings formed therein for receiving one end of a hooked rod. The other ends of the hooked rods extend through the shell and are held in place by the vertical pins and a locking screw-threaded nut-sleeve locking assembly. The hooked ends of the rods engage the circumference or tread of the tires and are held firmly in place by tightening the locking screw against the rods. A padlock secured to the assembled device through the sleeve of the locking device prevents tampering with the apparatus when in place on a vehicle wheel.

    Abstract: A device to be used in conjunction with oxygen cylinders or other gas cylinders which will sound a warning and/or flash a light when the gas supply is running low and the cylinder is in need of replacement. A pin is inserted through a lens which normally is placed over a gas gauge dial wherein the gauge dial has a standard indicator arm which moves when the pressure decreases. When the indicator arm moves, normally in a counterclockwise direction, it will make contact with the pin when the level in the tank has been reduced to a point where it should be replaced. This will then complete an electrical circuit which would cause an alarm to sound and/or a light to flash. The circuit comprises essentially two lead wires each connected to a battery with one of the leads connected to a metal part of the regulator and another lead connected to the pin associated with the gauge.

    Abstract: An outrigger fishing rod holder for mounting in or on the hull of a fishing vessel for holding a fishing rod in a fixed position until a catch is made. The device comprises a tubular member for fixedly holding the fishing rod and the tubular member in turn is pivotedly mounted in a generally U shaped holding bracket. The U shaped member in turn has a tapered mounting bracket attached to it for securing same to a mounting plate on or in the hull of the fishing vessel. The U shaped supporting bracket has a semicircular cut out portion which allows the tubular member to pivot after a catch has been made.

    Abstract: A mechanical shock and sway arrestor to be interposed between piping, related equipment and a stationary support, the parts of which are constructed and arranged to automatically change the effective length of the arrestor in response to thermally induced movements of the piping and to subtantially instantaneously convert the arrestor into a rigid strut in the event that the piping is subjected to shock-loading or vibration of substantial amplitude.The arrestor includes a housing for a ball screw and a ball nut threaded over the ball screw or equivalent acme screw. The ball screw is resiliently mounted and has a flywheel secured thereto centrally diposed between two clutch plates which engage the flywheel when the screw moves in response to movement of the piping thereby effectively arresting such motion and altering the effective length of the arrestor.

The device comprises essentially a hollow cylinder adapted at one end to fit over a drive shaft, a coil spring disposed in the cylinder, a groove formed in the cylinder for nearly its entire length, a second groove formed in the cylinder for nearly its entire length and located 180.degree. from the first groove, a locking device which extends into the two (2) grooves for positioning and holding the spring, and a second cylinder slidably disposed in the first cylinder for compressing the spring. The end of the second cylinder distant from the spring is adapted to fit over driven shafts of various diameters.

    Abstract: A thimble having a small magnetic recess formed in the tip thereof for receiving a pin or other insertable member. The small recess may be round, square, rectangular or any other shape and may be of various outside dimensions and depth. This small recess is magnetized so that the head of a pin can be easily picked up and the pin inserted into some material. Further, the open end of the thimble can receive removable inserts for changing the size of the opening for different thumb sizes. Still another embodiment discloses the use of a thimble constructed as above but in two pieces with a spring disposed between the two sections. Finally, the entire head of the thimble may be magnetized.

    Abstract: A device for unclogging blocked pipes, tubes, drains and other conduits employing a source of compressed gas such as a CO.sub.2 cartridge or air compressor and a secondary source of compressed gas and/or liquid. A compressed gas storage chamber receives and holds the compressed gas until a desired predetermined pressure is reached at which time a valve is opened allowing the gas under pressure to flow to the conduit to be unclogged. Simultaneously, and if required, a secondary source of compressed gas and/or liquid can be led into the conduit to be unclogged, downstream of the storage chamber release valve. An automatic safety gas relief valve is also disposed downstream of the storage chamber release valve for safety.
