Abstract: A collapsible wingback chair that includes a seat base portion and to which is secured a lower portion of a pair of side wings that include upper portions that are movable relative to a chair back that is pivotally mounted so as to be movable between an upright position when the chair is in use to a folded position in overlaying relationship with the base with the upper portions of the side wings also being folded relative to the base to thereby form a compact configuration for handling, shipping and storage. The side wings are selectively secured to the chair back when the back is in a raised position to thereby permit use of the chair in a conventional manner.

Abstract: A SCARA robot has a robot console, a first robot arm articulated on the robot console and swivelable about a first swivel axis, a second swivel arm articulated on the first swivel arm and swivelable around the second swivel axis extending substantially parallel to the first swivel axis, at least one work unit, at least one first swivel motor for swiveling an arm unit composed of the first and second robot arms relative to the robot console, at least one second swivel motor for turning the second robot arm relative to the first robot arm, and at least one work motor for actuating the work unit, with the motors being controllable by a power electronics, with electrical circuits including convertor circuits for current supply of the motors and at least one control circuit for operating the convertor circuits and thereby for controlling the motors, and with at least one rectifier circuit being received in at least one robot arm.

Abstract: A method and circuit is provided for detecting and correcting errors in an array of content addressable memory (CAM) cells. The array includes wordlines, searchlines, bitlines, and matchlines for reading from, writing to, and searching CAM cells in the array.

Abstract: A rigging system for angularly adjusting the output portions of a plurality of loudspeaker cabinets wherein each of the cabinets includes a pair of rotatably adjustable rigging disks which protrude outwardly thereof which are selectively receivable within an adjacent cabinet. Each cabinet has a first locking element for securing the disks therein with respect thereto and second locking element or elements for selectively securing protruding portions of disks of an adjacent cabinet whereby an angle of the output portions of each cabinet may be adjusted from substantially a planar orientation to a curved orientation to thereby change the overall wavefront characteristics of sound issuing from a vertical array of attached loudspeaker cabinets.

Abstract: A flash optical performance monitor for monitoring DWDM channels is disclosed. The monitor is to assess the spectral quality of an optical signal received and to determine from changes in the spectral quality, relative to a known spectral quality indicative of an acceptable signal, an estimate of signal quality. The flash optical performance monitor comprises a spectroemetric transducer for performing a spectral decomposition of the optical signal received, and for transforming the decomposed optical signal into electrical-domain data, a memory for storing advanced digital signal processing routines, and a processor in connection with the wavelength optical unit and with the memory. The processor receives the advanced digital signal processing routines and the electrical spectral data, and applies the advanced digital signal processing routines to the electrical spectral data. Also a method for monitoring a quality of data transmission of at least one optical channel is disclosed.

Abstract: A female element for a quick connection for removably joining pipes of fluid under pressure and which is adapted to receive a male element. The female element includes at least one locking member movable within a guide channel that extends transverse with respect to an axis of fit of the male and female elements and which member has one end which is configured and adapted to be cooperatively engaged in a peripheral groove of the male element. The locking member is also provided with a tab which projects radially with respect to a body of the female element and which is cooperatively engaged by two portions of a control ring that is movable over the body of the female element in order to move the locking member within the guide channel between an inner locking position and an outer release position.
