  • Patent number: 8337131
Abstract: The invention relates to the head of a countersunk screw with a lower side which has at least one supporting surface, which forms part of a rotational surface about the screw axis and can nestle against a correspondingly contoured countersunk surface of an add-on part, and has at least one depression which is delimited by a cutting edge at its end which runs downwards, as seen in the screwing-in direction of the countersunk screw. The invention is distinguished in that in front of the supporting surface, as seen in the screwing-in direction, there is an approach surface which butts against said supporting surface, is inclined radially inwards and, at its upwardly running, free end, has the cutting edge which, over its length, maintains a radial distance from the rotational surface to the inside.

  • Patent number: 8338262
Abstract: A dual wavelength exposure system provides for patterning a resist layer formed on a wafer for forming semiconductor devices, using two exposure operations, one including a first radiation having a first wavelength and the other including a second radiation including a second wavelength. Different or the same lithography tool may be used to generate the first and second radiation. For each die formed on the semiconductor device, a critical portion of the pattern is exposed using a first exposure operation that uses a first radiation with a first wavelength and a non-critical portion of the pattern is exposed using a second exposure operation utilizing the second radiation at a second wavelength. The resist material is chosen to be sensitive to both the first radiation having a first wavelength and the second radiation having the second wavelength.

  • Patent number: 8340119
Abstract: A modulator modulates the packet data signal. A correction unit 18 adjusts the amplitude component of the modulated data signal. An amplifier amplifies the adjusted data signal and outputs the data signal. A control unit controls the operation of the amplifier. The control unit turns on the operation of the amplifier at the header timing of a packet. The amplifier generates a transient response in the header part of the packet when the amplifier is turned on. In accordance with the inverse characteristic of the transient response generated in the amplifier, the correction unit adjusts the amplitude component of the modulated data signal.
