Abstract: A quantizer of a sigma-delta modulator includes a pulse width modulator (PWM), a converter and a voltage level tracing device. The PWM receives an input signal, and generates a PWM signal according to one or more sawtooth waves and one or more reference voltages. The converter is connected to the output of the PWM and digitizes the PWM signal to generate an output digital value. The voltage level tracing device is connected to the output of the converter, and receives the output digital value to generate a reference voltage adjustment value. The reference voltage adjustment value is transmitted to the PWM for adjusting the reference voltage, so as to change the next corresponding voltage level of the sawtooth wave to track the input signal.

Abstract: A wave energy converter has a shell, a pendulum pivotally positioned in the shell, a magnet thereon, a variable inductor positioned in the shell, a pendulum adjustor for changing a center of gravity of the pendulum, a motion sensor positioned in the shell, a position sensor connected to the pendulum, a rotation sensor connected to the pendulum, and a controller connected to the motion sensor and the position sensor and the rotation sensor. The pendulum has a magnet thereon. The magnet of the pendulum oscillates adjacent the variable inductor. The variable inductor can adjust the inductive capacity.
Abstract: A sealing cap for an anchor of a post-tension anchorage system has a tubular body, a flange formed on an end of the tubular body, and a seal positioned adjacent an interior wall of the tubular body. The flange has a connector formed on a circumferential surface thereof for detachably engaging the flange with a tubular section of the anchor. The seal is positioned against the interior wall of the tubular body. The seal has a tubular shape so as to extend entirely around the interior wall. The seal is positioned in liquid-tight relation between the interior wall of the tubular body and a sheathed portion of a tendon extending from the anchor. The seal is inserted between the sheathed portion and the interior wall of the tubular body.
Abstract: Machine for styling hair in the form of long locks of hair entwined in dreadlocks includes a container body accommodating an electric or pneumatic motor. There is a handle which, in its lower front part, forms a nose through which an interchangeable harpoon needle projects, the needle being provided with at least one traction harpoon and being installed in a particular rotary position with the aid of removable device. The container body has a switch above and behind the nose. The electric or pneumatic motor has a regulator for the speed and has a shaft, which extends parallel to the interchangeable harpoon needle, rotationally coupled to it.
Abstract: The invention concerns a prepayment device for dispensing French fries. The pre-cooked and frozen French fries are discharged from storage, and a determined amount is weighed corresponding to one or more portions. The French fries are then received by a receiver which moves between the weighing zone, and the cooking zone, followed by conveyance of the discharged and transported cooked French fries to a container from storage. The device uses a swinging movement of the receiver, enabling the French fries to be mixed and turned ensuring that they are homogeneously cooked. An additional feature of the device is that the cooked French fries are discharged with a tilting movement about an axis towards the transport for the cooked French fries to the container.
Abstract: The present invention provides a spool seat with a positioning structure, which resolves the shortcomings of the assembly of a typical spool ceramic disc and spool seat. The spool seat of the present invention is provided with a chamber space for locating the fixed ceramic disc. The chamber space is provided with an internal locating portion which comprises an internal locating flange and external locating flange. An external locating portion is protruded from the chamber space. The chamber space is divided into inlet space and outlet space via the arrangement of internal locating portion. It is possible to eliminate the space restrictions for the fixed ceramic disc, and also prevent the rotation and slide or displacement when the fixed ceramic disc is assembled into the chamber space of the spool seat.
Abstract: A hermetic light-emitting device includes a heat dissipation member including a first surface, a second surface and a first through-hole formed between the first and second surfaces. A circuit substrate has a plurality of conductive traces and a second through-hole disposed corresponding to the first through-hole. A light-emitting element is disposed on the circuit substrate and electrically connected to the plurality of conductive traces. A plurality of electrical wires pass through the first and second through-holes and connect to the plurality of conductive traces to externally supply electrical power to the light-emitting element. A sealing material fills the first and second through-holes. A seal pad member includes a pad opening and is disposed on the first surface of the heat dissipation member and surrounding the circuit substrate. A cover member is disposed over the light-emitting element and against the seal pad member.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lighting tube with light emitting diodes (LEDs) that can be disassembled and repaired. The present invention presents substantial advantages and innovative characteristics as well as other advantages related to organization and construction. The invention is centered on a lighting tube which, while preferably adopting the standardized dimensions of commonly used fluorescent tubes, as well as a similar system for lateral attachment and connection, is different. It is provided inside the transparent tubular body that forms it with a lighting system based on light emitting diodes or LEDs, giving the tube the advantages of this lighting system, essentially based on a greater illumination intensity with a considerably lower consumption, the possibility of repairing the tube and a much longer useful lifetime.

Abstract: The present invention provides a bearing mechanism with an integrated flexible bearing surface. The bearing mechanism includes a frame, which is folded to define an inner space; and an integrated flexible bearing surface, which has an elastic restoring force and is prefabricated onto the inner space of the frame. At least two sides of the integrated flexible bearing surface are mated integrally with the frame when the bearing mechanism is fabricated. The present invention enhances the structural strength, reduces greatly the fabrication cost and improves substantially the manufacturing efficiency with better applicability and industrial benefits.
Abstract: A head assembly for attaching to a dental instrument has a body, a rotary shaft with a pinion thereon, at least one retractable catch latching lever and a retractable catch. The rotary shaft has a central bore suitable for receiving a shank of the dental instrument therein. The latching lever has a peg engageable with an annular latching groove of the shank of the dental instrument. The catch has a positioning plane coinciding with the drive flat of the instrument. The body has a circular opening closed off by a push button cooperative with the rotary shaft so as to release the shank of the dental instrument.

Abstract: A pocketformer apparatus for post-tension construction has an anchor member with an interior passageway, a tubular member extending into the interior passageway, a cup member with an interior opening in which the tubular member extends through the interior opening, and a securement member affixed adjacent the opposite end of the tubular member from the anchor body. The interior passageway has a threaded portion. The tubular member has a first end retained in the threaded portion. The tubular member has the second end extending outwardly of a side of the anchor body opposite the threaded portion. The cup member is interposed between the securement member and the anchor member. A form board is interposed between the cup member and the securement member. The threaded portion is an internal thread formed on an non-tapered portion of the interior passageway.
