Abstract: A storage device for unused rolls of toilet paper includes two or more circular tubes arranged in a vertical row below a conventional wall-mounted toilet paper dispenser. The circular tubes are encased within a fabric covering that ties the tubes together. A U-shaped arm structure extends from the uppermost tube to suspend the storage device from the toilet paper dispenser; C-shaped hooks loop over the paper dispenser spindle for suspension purposes.
Abstract: A card game is played according to rules that provide point values for the natural cards and face cards in each game participant's hand. The object of the game is to achieve a point total in any one suit coming closest to a target point value without exceeding the target value. The winning hand is the hand that has a point value in any one suit closest to the target value without exceeding the target value.
Abstract: The present invention consists of a rolling shade carrier, a rolling shade capable of automatic contraction into the carrier by means of a spring, two movable clips, a fixed clip, two support rods, a tractive line and a motor base with an interior line winding motor; the fixed clip and two movable clips are installed on the rolling shade carrier, and the fixed clip is further fixed on the motor base so as to interconnect the motor base and the rolling shade carrier as one body; one end of each support rod is inserted into the recess provided in each associated movable clip, and another end thereof is inserted into the hole on a pulley holder so that the support rods can bear the holder against the ceiling of a car.
Abstract: A card game includes seventy two cards in six different categories or sets. The cards in each set are numbered consecutively from one to twelve; cards in the range from one to six constitute the low numbered cards, whereas cards in the range from seven to twelve constitute the high numbered cards. The game includes a bidding phase, and a playing phase. During the bidding phase the players predict, or claim, the number of tricks that they will take. During the playing phase the players play cards individually, to win tricks according to the number value on the respective cards. The winning bidder determines whether the play will take place with the low numbered cards or the high numbered cards.
Abstract: A box, or carton, for carry-out restaurant foods, includes a collapsible box body formed out of cardboard. Upper and lower straps are anchored to the box side walls and the box end walls to span the box corners. These straps can be pulled away from the box walls to form loops for retaining or stabilizing beverage containers located in corner areas of the box. The straps engage the cups near the upper and lower edges of the cups, so that the cup is effectively restrained against tipping or sliding. The box is provided with a cardboard carrying handle that can be folded into the box when it is desired to fold the box walls into a flat package suitable for storage or shipment.
Abstract: A paint brush comprises tubular handle 12 and a device connecting the tubular handle 12 to the brush head. The tubular handle 12 is made of plastic material and the like with an opening 15 allowing extender to be inserted. The device has two locking systems, one connected to the tubular handle 12 and the other connected to the brush head. The device allows the angles and directions of the brush be adjustable. The brush head is equipped with a receiver to secure the device at the tip end of the ferrule of the head.
Abstract: The game of BINGO is played with Bingo cards having one free space and twenty four fill-in spaces. The BINGO players can mark each fill-in space to designate a selected number for that particular space. Each player has a wide selection of numbers that can be used in playing the BINGO card. The winning numbers are read from a sheet of paper that is prepared and stored in a closed receptacle prior to start of the game. Game apparatus is relatively low cost, while being versatile.
Abstract: A portable infant support system is provided for installation in a conventional bathtub so that an infant can be supported in a prone position above the tub water level while the mother is washing or bathing the infant. The support system includes a flexible foam rubber panel suspended within the tub by four or more suction cups at the corners of the panel. Each suction cup is adherred to an internal side surface of the tub to suspend a portion of the panel. The suction cups can be slid along the tub side surface to adjust to the position of the foam panel.
Abstract: A window curtain assembly includes a foldable curtain have one end attached to a tubular mounting frame so that a handle on the other end of the curtain can be pulled to extend the curtain across the window. The curtain is retracted to a folded condition by a tension spring located within the tubular frame. A tractive tying line has two parallel runs extending along the curtain surface into the tubular frame. Segments of the line extend back and forth around a system of pulleys located within the frame. Two of the pulleys are connected to one end of the spring, so that the spring is able to draw the two pulleys along the frame. The tractive line is drawn into the tubular frame to move the curtain to its folded state.
Abstract: Persons can participate in a game of chance, such as BINGO, played at the game site or remotely away from the site where the winning numbers are drawn. Each player can mark his predicted winning number combination on a specially designed game sheet. The game sheet preferably has twenty four spaces arranged in vertical columns and horizontal rows, as in a conventional BINGO card. Each space has fifteen numerals printed therein, such that the game player can select a particular number by marking over one (and only one) of the numerals in each space. The invention gives the player a wider choice of numbers when playing the game of BINGO, either at the game site or remotely from some other location.
Abstract: A case for holding a compact disc. The case has an inner sleeve portion having three folding panels, between which the compact disc is placed. The case also has a unitary envelope portion with (a) a slotted front panel with a vertical slot, (b) a slotted closure panel extending from one vertical side of the front panel, said closure panel having a horizontal slot formed therein, (c) a front tab panel extending from a vertical side of the closure panel not extending from the front panel, (d) a back panel extending from an upper, horizontal side of the slotted front panel, (e) a overlay panel extending from an upper, horizontal side of the back panel, and (f) a tabbed closure panel extending from an upper, horizontal side of the overlay panel.
Abstract: A basketball net is formed of six U-shaped strands of stiff, flexible weather-resistant material, joined together at spaced points by small connector clips. Each strand preferably is a steel cable having a plastic coating or sheath, that provides distinctive coloration and oxidation protection for the cable.
Abstract: A portable load carrying device is attachable to a person's belt to provide a support ledge for a box or other cargo item being carried by the person. The weight of the cargo is borne at least partially by the load carrying device, such that stress on the person's arms and back is considerably reduced.
Abstract: A protector device for a golf club includes a rigid tube adapted to house the shaft portion of the club, and a fabric cover adapted to enclose the hitting head of the golf club. The flexible fabric cover includes a flanged panel adapted to underlie the toe area of the club, and a flanged hood adapted to overlie the sole area of the club. The hood flange telescopes over the panel flange to prevent rain water from entering the cover interior space. Access to the cover is achieved by swinging the hood away from the flanged panel.
Abstract: A reusable bag system for use in popping popcorn kernels is a microwave oven. The system provides a foldable bag having front and rear walls joined by foldable side walls, a closed bottom wall, and an open mouth. The bag is closeable by double folding the bag over in its mouth region. Creased lines separated from one another by one-half inch from the open mouth on the front and rear walls of the bag aid the user in accurately double folding the mouth region closed. The system uses a microwave safe plastic closure clip having two spaced apart side walls joined at their upper region, and having inwardly directed pressure exerting ridges to air-tightly close the bag. Unpopped kernels are placed in the bag and sealed therein.
Abstract: An athletic sock is formed out of a moisture-absorbent yarn material that is knitted to conform to the shape of a human foot. A flexible sheet of neoprene, or similar resilient thermal insulator material, is affixed to the moisture-absorbent fabric so as to overlie the shin area, ankle area and instep area of the sock. The neoprene sheet acts as a cushion between the person's boot and foot so as to improve foot comfortability. The neoprene sheet also acts as a thermal barrier to control the escape of heat and moisture from the sock areas in contact with the neoprene sheet.
