    Abstract: An injection unit which is associated with a cylinder of a multicylinder diesel engine and comprises an injection nozzle and an injection piston pump which is disposed in a common housing and is driveable by a cam shaft. Said pump comprises a rotatable pump piston which is displaceable in a pump cylinder and has two control edges disposed axially spaced from each other for at least one fuel passage of the pump cylinder. To obtain the desired injection accuracy by accurately observing only a few dimensions during the production and without further tests, measuring and adjusting operations, the pump piston (3) and the pump cylinder (14) each comprise at least one stop face (24, 25) extending transversely preferably normal to the pump longitudinal axis. Said faces cooperate in the basic position of the pump piston (3) assumed in the installation of the unit in the engine directly or indirectly with simultaneous rotational position fixing of the pump piston (3).

    Abstract: A multispot grid-welding machine has an electrode-carrier beam movable up and down and a plurality of guide rods mounting a plurality of electrode units for movement on the beam. Pressure springs bias the electrode units in a direction towards the grid being welded, each electrode unit being movable into a working position and a rest position in which it is retracted. A plurality of return springs act on the electrode units, the return springs being considerably weaker than the pressure springs and acting to shift the respective electrode units on the working position into the retracted position. Devices are provided for advancing selected electrode units into the working position by overcoming the force of the return springs.

The brake mechanism includes a brake rod in parallel with an axle of the roller pair, a mounting plate for the brake rod located between the rollers, which has a recess on its lower side, and a rotary disc mounted within the recess of the mounting plate, which, in turn, has a downwardly projecting portion provided with two entrainment lugs. A guide for the brake rod is mounted on the mounting plate for restraining lateral movement of the brake rod, while permitting a movement of it along a substantially vertical direction.

The multiplier is a Wheatstone bridge including four ferromagnetic and magnetoresistive thin films, and the magnetic fields have a direction along the direction of the hard magnetic axes of each of the thin films. The thin films are so positioned that the magnetization of two electrically oppositely disposed thin films resulting from the application of the external magnetic field thereto is rotated in a direction opposite to that of the correspondingly resulting magnetization of the remaining thin films, following application of the auxiliary magnetic field to the films.
