Abstract: A rolling bearing unit with rotating speed detector comprising an inner ring member with an inner ring raceway and a rotatable outer ring member with an outer ring raceway, a plurality of rolling bodies provided between the inner ring raceway and outer ring raceway, an annular, magnetic tone wheel fitted to the outer ring member, a support ring fitted to the axial end of the inner ring member, an annular sensor supported by the support ring so as to be faced to the tone wheel generally in a circumferential direction, the sensor comprising an annular magnetic pole piece, annular permanent magnet and annular coil, so that one end in magnetic orientation of the permanent magnet is placed adjacent to one end portion of the pole piece, while the other end in magnetic orientation is placed magnetically adjacent to the tone wheel, the coil provided adjacent to the pole piece, the tone wheel having cut-outs formed with a uniform pitch in a circumferential direction and faced across a clearance to a portion of the pol
Abstract: A target torque map is determined by an engine rotation number and an acceleration pedal opening degree. Plural control constant groups are provided to correspond the respective target torque map. A fuel precedent control is carried out by the plural constant control groups. By detecting an engine combustion condition, under a worse combustion condition a transfer to a higher torque side is carried out with a time function according to a complementary control of the control constant group. In a direct injection system engine, a controlling apparatus in which a stratified combustion and a homogeneous stoichiometric combustion are easily and stably.
Abstract: In the case of a shaft for an open-end spinning rotor, a supporting element arranged at a step bearing extends the shaft. The supporting element is arranged centrical to the axis of the shaft. The supporting element is affixed to the shaft by means of a separate holding part, which engages with the circumferential surface of the shaft to enable in a simple way, an exact axial and radial positioning of the supporting element on the shaft.
Abstract: A gap filter for liquids of gases which has a filter body 13 which encloses a clean space within a filter housing and separates it from a dirt space. The filter body 13 is supported by an element which is constructed as a safety filter 14.

Abstract: Two flap halves are made of a plastic material and are connected with one another to form a one-piece injection-molded part by means of a film hinge injection molded along a lateral edge of the two flap halves. The two flap halves are foldable together about a hinge axis of the film hinge and being fixable in this folded-together position by means of fixing elements.
Abstract: The invention provides a process for the advance recognition of the hydroplaning of a vehicle tire on a wet road, in which the rotational speed of the wheel carrying the tire is sensed by a rotational speed sensor and the frequency spectrum of the rotational wheel speed is evaluated. According to the invention, in the frequency range above 20 Hz, the natural resonance behavior of the rotational tire vibrations is evaluated continuously, and a conclusion on hydroplaning of the tire is drawn from detuning of the rotatory natural frequencies.
Abstract: An independent wheel suspension, having a :lower semi-trailing arm comprising a control armextending in the transverse direction of the vehicle and a control arm which extends toward the rear, diagonally to the longitudinal center plane of the vehicle, from the wheel-side end of the first control arm. The semi-trailing arm, with its outer arm end engages in a vehicle wheel and, by way of a ball joint, is supported on the wheel carrier. On an armwhich is fixed to the wheel carrier, a moment supporting arm is pivotally connected which extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The semi-trailing arm and the moment support arm are placed essentially in a common horizontal plane, the outer end of the semi-trailing arm, which is supported on the ball joint, is offset diagonally upwards on the outside, and the ball joint is arranged close to the inner circumference of the wheel.

Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide an information recording disk which allows a higher information recording density as compared with that of a conventional disk and a recorded information reproducing apparatus for reproducing information recorded therein. On the information recording disk, plurality of pits corresponding to information are formed, and furthermore a magnetic thin film is formed from soft magnetic material such as pure iron, silicon steel, permalloy, or Mn-Zn ferrite and so on.
Abstract: An electric drive motor with a small size and large rotary torque is used as a driving device for a grinding wheel of a grinding device. The motor such as an AC servo motor is encased in a casing to protect it from humidity, high temperature, scattered oil, etc. The atmosphere in the casing is controlled to protect the motor. The pressure, temperature and humidity in the casing are controlled by introducing dried air into the casing.

Abstract: In a road vehicle electrohydraulic brake system, each wheel brake is assigned a brake-pressure regulating element which can be controlled by an electric motor. At least one electronic retardation desired-value signal transmitter is actuated by the driver. An electronic control unit produces the required actuating signals for the brake-pressure regulating elements from a comparison of the desired-value input signals with actual-value signals characteristic of the vehicle retardation. The brake-pressure regulating elements each comprises a piston pump. The filling and delivery strokes of these elements are performed in a fixed phase relationship with a pump driving element. The output of the pump per pump cycle is regulated opposite the pressure and, in all cases, is small relative to the output, Q.sub.max, required for coupling the maximum value of the brake pressure P.sub.Bmax into the connected wheel brake.
Abstract: A procedure is provided to end an automatic braking operation such that unwanted ending of the automatic braking operation is prevented. If a switching operation of the switching element takes place within a predetermined time interval after the triggering of the automatic braking operation, the automatic braking operation is not automatically ended. The system monitors whether another switching operation takes place within the time interval. The other switching operation is the reverse of the first switching operation. If another switching operation takes place during the time interval, a second relative motion between the push rod and the component which can be moved within a defined motional play has taken place in this time period. Since the brake pedal is continuing to be actuated, the automatic braking operation is not then ended.

Abstract: An improved loudspeaker comprises an oscillator fitted to an enclosure and able to oscillate to create sound waves. The oscillator, which includes a diaphragm, may be driven in response to an electromagnetic force or passively in response to pressures in the enclosure. The oscillator includes a convoluted tubular chamber which is preferably coiled in a helix about the center of the oscillator. The chamber may be open to the interior of the enclosure and to the exterior of the enclosure. The oscillator should provide a surface area in contact with air in excess to that provided by the diaphragm alone. In a preferred embodiment the baffle forms a framework between two diaphragm membranes, one of which membranes is open centrally to allow access to the center of the baffle and thus to the chamber.
