Abstract: A medical device includes a pulse generator, an electrode configured to contact tissue in a coronary vessel, a lead comprising a lead conductor, the lead conductor connecting the pulse generator with the electrode, and a filter circuit electrically connected in series between the lead conductor and the electrode. The filter circuit may include a band pass filter that attenuates signals having a frequency other than a natural resonance frequency (e.g. MRI device signals), and the pulse generator may transmit therapy signals to the electrode as a sinusoidal voltage wave at the natural resonance frequency. The filter circuit may include a diode that rectifies the sinusoidal voltage wave before the rectified sinusoidal voltage wave passes to the electrode. In some embodiments, therapy signals may be provided to the electrode through the band pass filter over a natural resonance frequency range.

The method includes enterally administering to the subject a composition which (i) is substantially free from the first amino acid X and (ii) which includes a second amino acid Y that competes with amino acid X at a gastrointestinal tract transporter.
Abstract: An implantable medical system includes a medical lead including an insulating sheath and a conductor and an anchoring device. The anchoring device defines an inner lumen adapted to coaxially receive the medical lead, where the inner lumen has an effective diameter. The anchoring device includes a sleeve including a substantially elongate body defining an outer surface and an inner bore. The anchoring device also has a compression member including a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion between the first and second ends. The compression member is at least partially embedded in the sleeve such that compression of the first and second ends of the compression member toward one another causes the effective diameter of at least a portion of the inner lumen of the anchoring device to reversibly increase.

Abstract: This publication discloses a method for manufacturing a circuit-board structure. According to the method, a conductor pattern (13) is made, and contact openings are made in it for a component's (16) electrical contacts. After this, the component (16) is attached relative to the conductor pattern (13), in such a way that the contact areas or contact bumps of the component lie next to the contact openings. After this, an electrically conductive material is introduced to the contact openings, in order to form electrical contacts between the conductor pattern (13) and the component (16).

Abstract: Method for manufacturing an electronic module, which electronic module includes a component (6), which is connected electrically to a conductor-pattern layer (14). In the method contact openings (17) are made in the conductor layer (4), the mutual positions of which correspond to the mutual positions of the contact areas (7) of the component (6). After this, the component (6) and the conductor layer (4) are aligned relative to each other, in such a way that the contact areas (7) of the component (6) come to the positions of the contact openings (17), and the component (6) is secured. After this, at least in the contact openings (17) and the contact areas (7) of the component (6) a conductor material is made that connects the component (6) to the conductor layer (4). After the making of the contact the conductor layer (4) is patterned to form a conductor-pattern layer (14).
