  • Patent number: 7102434
Abstract: A low-pass filter with a variable gain comprising a transconductance differential amplifier stage comprising a differential input and a differential output, the latter receiving a passive circuit, such as a first-order RC filter, in order to realize low-pass filtering of the amplifier stage. The filter is chosen so that the cut-off frequency is below the frequency range to be treated. The filter further comprises a control element controlling the differential amplifier stage's bias point to allow control of the gain associated to filtering. Thus, low-pass filtering associated to a variable gain can be realized in a very simple way. The circuit is perfectly adapted for incorporation into a semiconductor product.

  • Patent number: 7102383
Abstract: A process of programming or reprogramming a reprogrammable onboard memory (5) comprises programming or reprogramming the onboard memory of several modules (M0, M1) in parallel through a multiple access bus (6) to which the modules are connected. In the case of blank flash memories, a process downloads code through the multiple access bus (6) and executes the code, eliminating all external constraints (such as frequency, binary throughput). The process is more particularly intended to apply to onboard flash type memories.

  • Patent number: 7102590
Abstract: An antenna (100) includes an array of telescoping elements (402a–d) connected to and by a conductive disk (404) that feeds a signal to the elements (402a–d) from a matching circuit (506) within a body section (412). Each element (402a–d) has a joint (602, 604) making it individually angularly bendable. The body section (412) is attached to a swivel assembly (414) for adjusting the angle of the array (402a–d). A coaxial cable runs from the matching circuit (506), through the swivel assembly (412) and to a connector (502) within a connector assembly (422) for attachment to a radio.

  • Patent number: 7101564
Abstract: The invention relates to a plastically deformable implant for inserting into bodily orifices of the human or animal body. Implants of this type are used, for example, in ophthalmology, in particular, as vitreous body or lens replacements and in dentistry, for example, for filling extraction cavities in jaw-bones. Known implants, however, are not suitable for long-term use. The invention aims to provide a deformable plastic implant which also has a long-term application. This is achieved by the fact that the implant consists of a gel which is not sealed, containing fluorocarbon and which is directly introduced into the natural, or artificially created bodily orifice.

  • Patent number: 7096620
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for mounting a telescopic sight onto a weapon. The device is equipped with two mounting feet, which are positioned at a distance from one another and provided with mounting elements for engaging in corresponding receiving openings on the weapon. The aim of the invention is to enable the sight to be positioned accurately without the need for a complex adjustment and fitting process. To achieve this, the mounting elements are configured by clamping bolts, which comprise laterally protruding lugs, are contained in the corresponding mounting feet and can be rotated through a release and locking position. The lugs can be inserted into recesses between inward-facing projecting shoulders of the receiving openings in the release position of the clamping bolts and engage with the underside of the projecting shoulders in the locked position of the bolts.

  • Patent number: 7099029
Abstract: A method and system receives a print job from a host device, parses the print job into individual print data for at least two separate printing devices, generates a random set of marks for identification of the print job, embeds the identification marks into the individual print data for a first printing device; and sends the individual print data and the marks to each printing device. Simultaneously, each printing device in the system receives its individual dataset for printing and the set of identification marks from the control unit and starts its print engine at a high speed. The first printing device prints its dataset and the identification marks on at least a first page of the printed dataset. The remaining printing devices then scan the roll of print media until they recognize the matching identification marks and begin printing their individual dataset on the roll of print media.

  • Patent number: 7093234
Abstract: A method, and computer readable medium for the dynamic CPU (Central Processing Unit) usage and function call tracing on a target application. The setup of the tracing uses a -pg like solution, and is implemented using the DPCL (Dynamic Probe Class Library). The output is presented in a gmon.out format, which allows the use of popular analysis tools. The program being traced need not be recompiled or re-linked. This is particularly important if the source code is not available. The dynamic feature allows for different choices of profiling and the choice can even be changed once the target application is running.

  • Patent number: 7090800
Abstract: A mold, a molding machine and a method of molding a plastics material in a mold cavity is described which relies primarily on movement of a part of the mold to provide the pressure necessary to force the plastics material melt to fill all the parts of the mold cavity. The method comprises the steps of applying a light pressure to close the mold, injecting a predetermined quantity of molten plastics material into the mold cavity at a pressure which is such that the injection of the plastics material can cause the cavity to expand in volume against the resistance of the light closing pressure, and applying a high pressure to close the mold fully after completion of the injection step.
