Abstract: A metering device is provided for metering at least one medium. The metering device includes a medium storage unit and a pumping system connected to the medium storage unit. The medium storage unit or the pumping system has a venting valve which is elastically held in the closed position. The metering device also includes a control member associated with the venting valve in such a way that the control member opens the venting valve as a result of a pumping movement of the pumping system.
Abstract: A teat rubber for use on a milking cup of a milking apparatus, is made up of a head part having provided thereon a sealing lip that forms an insertion opening for a teat, a holding edge for grasping a milking cup sleeve, a suction connecting piece connected to the head part as well as a planar teat bearing section which is formed on the sealing lip provided on the head part and which defines the insertion opening, characterized in that the teat rubber has an adhesion element that improves the adhesion between the teat and the teat rubber without affecting the milking process.
Abstract: A multi-threaded processor determines which threads to execute, switches between execution of threads in dependence on the determination, each thread being coupled to a respective register for storing the state of the thread and used in executing instructions on the thread and includes a further register shared by all the threads. The executing threads use the further register to improve execution performance and prevents the switching of execution to another thread while the internal register is in use.
Abstract: A curved sign assembly includes a flexible sign panel removably mounted in an arcuate position in a modular frame. The frame comprises a pair of edge rails mounted on opposite side edges of an intermediate member. The edge rails can clip on a variety of intermediate members of different sizes. The edge rails include inwardly facing open-sided channels that receive and hold side edges of the flexible sign panels on one or both sides of the intermediate members. Upper and lower plates cover the top and bottom sides of the sign. Horizontal or vertical reinforcing members positioned on the intermediate member for larger signs support the sign panels between the edges. The edge rails can be decorative extruded aluminum members that are attached in different lengths to a variety of intermediate members. A channel member can be mounted between the edge rails to receive the ends of sign panels that extend only part of the way between the edge rails and the side of the intermediate member.
Abstract: A digital camera imaging lens includes first, second and third lenses arranged in sequence from an object side toward an imaging surface side. The first lens is a meniscus lens having a positive power, whose convex surface faces the object side. The second lens is a meniscus lens having a negative power, whose concave surface faces the object side. The third lens is an aspherical lens having an inflection point on its object-side surface. An aperture stop is disposed between the first and second lenses. The imaging surface is defined by an element surface of a photosensor.
