  • Patent number: 8352430
Abstract: A method of creating a backup copy of a plurality of files is provided. A block of memory having a predetermined memory size is allocated at a first device. A first header including an identifier of a file of the plurality of files received from a second device is defined. The first header is written to the allocated block of memory. A second header including the identifier of the file is defined. The second header and the file are written to the allocated block of memory. The process of defining the second header and writing the second header and the file to the allocated block of memory is repeated for each file of the plurality of files. The allocated block of memory is copied to a third device after processing each of the plurality of files.

  • Patent number: 8351682
Abstract: This invention enables information on a connection wiring with a substrate of a mounted component to be accurately and easily inputted in an X-ray examination apparatus. In teaching of a substrate examination, when a user inputs a two-dimensional region of a component to be examined with respect to a visible light image of the substrate, three-dimensional data is generated for the relevant region, which data is then analyzed to acquire a center coordinate, the number, the number of rows, and the number of columns on a ball terminal connecting the component to the substrate. Results such as the center coordinate acquired in such a manner may be displayed. The visible light image for the substrate is displayed in a display field of a screen.

  • Patent number: 8348949
Abstract: A dynamic spine plate is formed with only a single row of bone screw bores that extend along a generally superior/inferior axis of the spine plate, providing a single-sided dynamic spine plate. The single-sided dynamic spine plate is formed from a plurality of spine plate components that are coupled dynamically to one another. This provides a modular, single-sided dynamic spine plate. The spine plate components are coupled dynamically to one another via socket and projection interfaces, the socket and projections interfaces incorporating resilient coupling and retention structures that allow limited movement of the spine plate components relative to one another. This provides for dynamic extension of the spine plate components relative to one another. The resilient coupling structure connects the spine plate components, providing a self-biased, snap fit coupling of spine plate components.

  • Patent number: 8352605
Abstract: Systems and methods of storing previously transmitted data and using it to reduce bandwidth usage and accelerate future communications are described. By using algorithms to identify long compression history matches, a network device may improve compression efficiently and speed. A network device may also use application specific parsing to improve the length and number of compression history matches. Further, by sharing compression histories, compression history indexes and caches across multiple devices, devices can utilize data previously transmitted to other devices to compress network traffic. Any combination of the systems and methods may be used to efficiently find long matches to stored data, synchronize the storage of previously sent data, and share previously sent data among one or more other devices.
