Abstract: A prefabricated door frame includes two vertical frame elements and a header element, each of channel shaped configuration with side flanges encompassing the wall at the edges of a wall opening. One of the vertical frame elements is secured by the aid of threaded fasteners passing through the jamb face of the frame element and into the rough frame member. Heads of the fasteners prevent movement of the frame element away from the rough frame member. After appropriate adjustment to plumb the frame element, cover plates are attached to the jamb face and overlie the screw heads thus to secure the frame element in its adjusted position. The header and other vertical frame element are positioned by the aid of registry clips inserted at the ends of the header element and the upper ends of the vertical frame elements.
Abstract: A floral wrapper comprises a body of a flat board stock material having four score lines. These score lines extend longitudinally, and are spaced angularly about a center located beyond the lower end of the body. Four contiguous segments are thus defined. Notches extending inwardly from the sides of the outer segments extend at least to the outer score lines whereby the outer segments are divided into upper wings and lower wings independently foldable about their score lines. The lower wings may be folded one over the other and about the stems of flowers to form a holder therefor as well as a grip for the wrapper. The upper wings can assume a substantially flat or trough like orientation for display of a relatively wide floral presentation, or the upper wings can assume an orientation in which they, along with the lower wings are overlapped to form a three sided box configuration for enclosing a floral presentation. The notches form a seat for a tie or ribbon.
Abstract: A ball joint comprises companion inner and outer hollow ball sections each comprising a major segment of a sphere. Spring means within the ball sections urges a friction pad into engagement with the interior surface of one of the sections. Screws within the ball sections adjusts the spring force, the screws being accessible for movement through a series of openings in one of the ball sections.
