Abstract: An improved pin drive anchor has an elongated body, a lock nut, and a drive pin having a securing section. The outer end of the body is threaded to permit the lock nut to be threadable therein. When the drive pin is driven into the anchor, the security section is designed so that the outer section of the body is expanded, thereby locking the lock nut onto the anchor.
Abstract: A conditioning circuit for providing a reliable source of supply power has a source of interruptible power, a source of uninterruptible power, a first voltage limiting circuit supplied with power from the interruptible source, a normally off second voltage limiting circuit supplied with power from the uninterruptible source and a monitoring circuit for detecting interruptions in the power supplied by the interruptible source and triggering the second limiting circuit to an on condition. An adjustable timing circuit is associated with the monitoring circuit to control the on condition of the second limiting circuit to restrict its on condition to a predetermined desired period.
Abstract: A toggle anchor for securing various types of articles to masonry or concrete walls and having a body portion and a retainer bar that is pivotally attached to the body portion and is sized so that it pivots with respect to the body portion in only one direction.
Abstract: An elongated hearth comforter having an interior of batting material and ends that are sewn together to provide increased cushioning. The comforter is designed to be an attractive decorative piece that partially covers the upward facing surface of a fireplace hearth.
Abstract: An improved tool caddy with adjustable light boom that is readily movable on a supporting surface and includes a central support member having trays for storing a plurality of tools, a plurality of caster wheels attached to one of the trays, an extension member associated with the support member in a telescoping relationship, a light boom pivotally connected to one end of the extension member, and an adjustable strut for changing and semi-permanently fixing the position of the light boom with respect to the extension member.
Abstract: A four-wheel steering apparatus for a vehicle includes assemblies for steering the front and rear wheels of the vehicle, and an interconnecting member for connecting the front and rear steering assemblies together to move in relation to one another such that there is a dwell period between movement of the front and rear steering assemblies. The interconnecting member is operated by a driver of the vehicle and the dwell period extends between the time when the movement of the front-wheel steering assembly begins and the time when the movement of the rear-wheel steering assembly begins.
Abstract: A tool adapted for use with a drill for installing screw anchors in concrete or masonry walls or the like having a sleeve type body, a bit holder slidably located in the body, a drill bit with a handle secured in the bit holder, a coil spring seated on a collar of the bit holder and extending around the bit, a nut driver secured to the front end of the body, a set screw to retain the drill bit in the bit holder and also to serve as a means to advance and retract the drill bit, and a cutout comprised of a longitudinal slot, a retainer notch and at least one depth notch. The longitudinal slot is adjoined by both the retainer notch and the depth notch through the use of curved sidewalls which allow the tool operator to use a smooth, uniform, and efficient motion to adjust extension of the drill bit.
Abstract: A container for enclosing the box of a pick-up truck that includes a pair of sidewalls, a front wall, a rear wall and a roof having two panels connected by hinges to the outer side edges of the sidewalls to permit each of the panels to be pivoted approximately 270.degree. from a closed position to an open position.
Abstract: An improved rocking wheelchair formed of a frame, two sets of support wheels for the frame, and a seat portion rockably connected to the frame by a rocking assembly that normally maintains the seat in a generally horizontally alignment when the chair is unoccupied and permits the seat to rock with respect to the frame when the chair is completely stationary.
Abstract: A tool adapted for use with a drill for installing screw anchors in concrete or masonry walls or the like having a sleeve type body, a bit holder slidably located in the body, a drill bit with a handle secured in the bit holder, a coil spring seated on a collar of the bit holder and extending around the bit, and a nut driver secured to the front end of the body. The bit holder is adapted to receive the bit handle and to also serve as a stabilizer for the bit and the coil spring. The nut driver is formed to guide the bit and to shield the front end of the bit from contact with drive members that may be secured in the nut driver.
Abstract: An implement for injecting a fluid like material below the surface of the ground having a hub portion and a plurality of hollow spokes extending radially outward therefrom. The hub portion is formed of a housing having an open center in which a sleeve bearing is secured and an axle position in the bearing to permit rotational movement of the housing with respect to the axle with the axle and the bearing having a clearance of no greater than 0.0030 inches.
Abstract: An improved pin drive anchor has an elongated body with an inner end with a reduced section about which a locking sleeve member is secured, and a longitudinal bore extending the length of the body and having a reduced diameter section proximate to the sleeve member. The sleeve member and the body inner end are slotted to permit expansion of the sleeve member and the inner end when a pin is driven through the entire length of the body bore to firmly secure the anchor in the cavity of a wall.
