Abstract: A process is described for the photochemical and thermal stabilization of undyed and dyed or printed polyester fiber materials, which comprises treating said materials with a compound of formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl,R.sub.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, andn is 0 to 5.Dyeings of superior lightfastness and sublimation fastness on polyester and cellulose acetate are obtained by this process.

Abstract: A process utilizing carbazole dioxazine crude, having a specific surface area of from 2 to 20 m.sup.2 /g and an average particle size of 0.5 to 20 .mu.m, as a pigment to color high molecular weight organic materials is disclosed. The process is especially useful for producing multicolor effects and camouflage effects and for use in automotive coatings. Compositions containing the carbazole dioxazine crude and a high molecular weight organic material are also disclosed.

Abstract: Novel semicarbazides of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, each independently of the other, are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy or phenyl, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, together with the linking nitrogen atom, form a morpholine or piperazine radical, p is 0 or 1, and Q depends on the value of p as described herein. The novel compounds, which are water-soluble in aqueous application systems, have fibre affinity and are suitable for the photochemical and thermal stabilization of polyamide fibre materials and the dyeings produced thereon.

Abstract: A laminate comprising (a) a carrier having a heat conductivity of at least 10 W/mK and a thickness of 10 to 100 .mu.m, and (b) a dielectric adhesive layer which is applied to at least one surface of said substrate and which contains a heat-conductive filler and has a thickness of 5 to 500 .mu.m and a heat conductivity of 1 W/mK. The flexible laminate, or a dielectric and self-supporting adhesive film which contains a heat-conductive filler and has a heat conductivity of at least 1 W/mK, is suitable for removing heat from leadframes which have electrically insulated contact surfaces for electrical and electronic components and which are encapsulated with a synthetic resin moulding material, typically dual-in-line plastic packages, by bonding the rear sides of the contact surfaces to the leads.
Abstract: A process for preparing quinacridone pigments comprising oxidizing 6,13-dihydroquinacridone or derivatives thereof at elevated temperatures in the presence of a base, dimethyl sulfoxide medium and a quinone catalyst, drowning the resulting pigment solution to precipitate the quinacridone pigment and isolating the desired quinacridone product.
Abstract: Radical cation salts having the composition of formula I ##STR1## wherein x has a value from -0.1 to +0.2. These radical cation salts crystallize in needle form and are electric conductors. They can be incorporated in polymers to form conductive networks of crystal needles in a polymer matrix. The polymers can be used for making antistatically treated mouldings or electrodes.

Abstract: Aqueous processes for the preparation of a new beta quinacridone modification possessing a magenta color having C.I.E. color space values in masstone of L=33-36, A=34-40 and B=8-15 starting with the crude pigment and comprising several milling and alternative deaggregation and recrystallization steps, the latter being facilitated at elevated temperatures aided by the presence of base and minor amounts of crystal growth auxiliaries, and the beta quinacridone modification having the indicated C.I.E. color space values.

Abstract: The present patent application describes novel liquid detergent compositions containing specifically disulfonated dibenzofuranylbiphenyls of the formula ##STR1## in which X is a sulfonic acid radical, hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl and Y and Z independently of the other are a sulfonic acid radical, hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, halogeno, CN, phenoxy or benzyloxy, with the proviso that either X or Y or Z is a sulfonic acid radical and the remaining substituents are not a sulfonic acid radical, and the preparation and use thereof; these detergent compositions prevent spotting on textile fabric when it comes into direct contact with the liquid detergent composition.
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for fixing reactive dyes on cellulosic textile material and to apparatus for carrying out said process.The process comprises wetting the dried fibre material, which has been printed with reactive dyes, with water, covering the printed material with water-impermeable material and subjecting it to a heat treatment. The fixation can be carried out with advantage using minor amounts of urea, but preferably without urea, to give prints of good quality.

These compounds are valuable intermediates for the preparation of carbacyclic nucleosides of the natural and unnatural series and of the racemates.
Abstract: A composition comprising (a) at least one oxidized polycationic polyheteroaromatic compound and (b) at least one polyanion of a film-forming thermoplastic polymer containing sulfated alcohol groups ##STR1## in repeating structural units. The composition has high electrical conductivity and good mechanical properties, especially after drawing at temperatures below the melt/decomposition temperature. The material may be used as electrodes, electrically conductive filaments or components for electromagnetic screening.
