Abstract: A final rinse/dry system for critical cleaning applications is provided having an ultrafiltration unit for providing an ultrapurified liquid to a holding chamber. A liquid conduit assembly connects the ultrafiltration unit to the holding chamber and controls the flow of the ultrapurified liquid therethrough. A liquid discharge assembly is connected to the liquid conduit assembly to selectively drain liquid from the holding chamber and the liquid conduit assembly. An inert gas conduit assembly provides the holding chamber with an inert atmosphere during drying, and a purge assembly is connected to the inert gas conduit assembly to bleed inert gas through the purge assembly to prevent contaminant build-up in the inert gas conduit assembly during the non-operating time thereof.
Abstract: A cryogenic system for recovering a gas product stream and a liquid product stream from a hydrocarbon gas stream is provided which operates at process temperature of -50.degree. F. or less. A portion of a refrigerating liquid stream and a cooled liquid stream produced during operation of the cryogenic system are passed heat exchange relationship with an inlet vapor stream and define a partially closed refrigeration loop. The partially closed refrigeration loop permits the low process temperatures to be achieved.
Abstract: A flow control valve assembly is provided which, when connected to a rotatable drill string, prevents drainage of fluid from a standpipe and rotary hose of a drilling rig when fluid flow through the drill string is interrupted. The flow control valve assembly comprises a tubular body member or housing having a fluid flow passage extensive therethrough and a flow control valve supported within the fluid flow passage of the tubular body member. The flow control valve, which is a self-contained pressurized unit, is provided with an annular pressure cavity so that the flow control valve can be selectively opened and closed in response to pressure differential between the annular pressure cavity and the pressure of fluid in the fluid flow passage of the tubular body member.
Abstract: An specimen cup holder is provided which permits a person to position a conventional specimen gathering device, such as a specimen cup, for receipt of a specimen without contact with the specimen. The specimen cup holder is provided with a specimen cup engaging assembly having a handle member connectable thereto such that the handle member extends outwardly from the specimen cup engaging assembly. The connector assembly, which connects the handle member to the specimen cup engaging assembly, is provided with a female member and a male member. The interconnection of the handle member to the specimen cup engaging assembly via the male and female members of the connector assembly enables a person to grasp a gripping portion of the handle member and easily position the specimen cup for receipt of the specimen.
