Abstract: A method and apparatus for automatically estimating a correction to be made to an image deformed with respect to a sequence of images. The method includes detecting of information pixels in the images; calculation of a region of interest located in a binary mapping image made from the images; for each image, search in the image, for the position of a mobile region that maximizes a similarity criterion to the region; and the estimated correction to be made to the image is compared with each image being the affine transformation of the mobile region moving from its found position at which similarity criterion is maximized to the region. The correction is only applied if the balance is equal to the improvement to the similarity criterion in the region of interest and the deterioration of the similarity criterion outside the region of interest is positive.
Abstract: A drive assembly for providing two outputs from a motor to actuators or the like has a first drive shaft connected with the motor via a torque limiter and a reduction gear. A high efficiency spur gear also connects the motor with a second, parallel drive shaft via a second torque limiter and a reduction gear. The two drive shafts are also interconnected by a low efficiency gear provided by worm pinions on the shafts and a worm gear wheel engaging both pinions, which only transfers load between the drive outputs if there is uneven torsional loading in excess of the settings of the torque limiters.

The protection arrangement includes a drip pan having a rim surrounding the mounting hole and adapted to collect grease from an interior of the machine nacelle and a flexible collar adapted to fit around the upper end of the tower and having an outer diameter being larger than the diameter of the mounting hole of the machine nacelle. The flexible collar is adapted to pass through the mounting hole into the interior of the machine nacelle.
Abstract: A method for the correction of lag charges in a flat-panel X-ray detector makes it possible, for each integration phase of the detector, to determine an initial read phase situated just before said integration phase. The method of the invention enables the measurement, for each integration phase, of the charges present in the detector at the corresponding initial read phase, the production of a lag image from the latent charges measured in the initial read phase and the subtraction of the lag image from the raw image. The use of the measurement of charges enables the direct correction of the lag image in the acquisition without the use of a correction module as in the prior art.
