  • Patent number: 6637841
Abstract: A compact disk storage device including a housing having a top wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall, and opposed side walls. The front wall has a plurality of slotted compartments formed therein for receiving a plurality of slide trays, each slide wall having a forward end, a rearward end having pins extending outwardly therefrom, and a recessed upper surface for receiving a compact disk. Each of the compartments is defined by an open forward end, a bottom slide wall cut outwardly at a downward angle, and opposed side walls having brackets adjacent to the open forward end. The slide trays slide outwardly of the compartments until the pins abut the brackets whereupon the trays will angle downwardly against the forward edge of the bottom slide wall to allow removal of the compact disk from the tray.

  • Patent number: 6637640
Abstract: A pipe welding tool for delivering inert gas to the interior of pipes being welded. The tool has a center tube and a pair of clamps extending around the tube that support a number of extendible hinged arms. The arms are collapsible, thus allowing the entire tool to adjust to fit within a pipe. Once in the pipe, the arms are released and tensioned against the walls of the pipe. A nozzle is positioned on top of the tube. A quick connect coupling is located at the bottom of the tube and connects with a gas source providing an inert gas. A hose connects the quick connect coupling with the nozzle. A gas lens, connected to the nozzle, has a plurality of holes around its side wall. When the gas is fed into the gas lens, the gas lens releases the gas through the holes in the lens in a 360 degree planar pattern. When positioned within a pair of pipes adjacent to a seam, the tool can serve to provide inert gas to the interior of the pipes and prevent the pipes from burning.

  • Patent number: 6612615
Abstract: A cart attachment system, for attaching a cart to a vehicle, the vehicle having a trailer hitch, including a carrier and a V-bracket. The V-bracket is attached to the cart, and has an underside hollow. The carrier includes a main tube which extends vertically and which is attached to the trailer hitch with an L-adapter that is rigidly affixed to the main tube. A slidable member is mounted for vertical movement within the main tube. A triangular support member is mounted to the main tube and fits within the hollow of the V-bracket, such that the triangular support member is raised by raising the slidable member to lift the V-bracket which in turn lifts the cart off the ground for transport. When the destination is reached, the cart is easily lowered to the ground by lowering the slidable member and thereby lowering the triangular support member.

  • Patent number: 6612782
Abstract: A telescoping tube for supporting surrounding walls of a shaft during the rescue of a victim trapped at the bottom of the shaft. The tube has nesting interlocking successive sections, each successive section having a diameter smaller than the preceding section. Each section has a top edge and a bottom edge. A bottom rim oriented inward extends around the bottom edge perimeter of each section. A pair of top lips oriented outward extend outward from opposite quadrants of the perimeter of the top edge of each section. When the telescoping tube is extended downward, the top lips of the sections rest upon the bottom rim of the preceding sections. In order to collapse the tube, the sections are pulled upward into the preceding sections, thereby bringing the top lips of the sections into contact with the bottom rim of the preceding sections.
