  • Patent number: 8092225
Abstract: A device for helping a toddler learn to walk that employs a waist belt for a toddler, a waist belt for an adult and a strap assembly that connects the toddler belt and the adult belt. The strap assembly has an adjustable strap, a connecting strap and a strap loop. The adjustable strap has a plurality of buttonholes, a button fastener and hook and loop fastener material on the inner surfaces. The adjustable strap is attached to the toddler belt, doubles through a strap loop, and fixes a length by securing a button in a buttonhole and linking the hook and loop fastener material on the inside surfaces of the adjustable strap. • Patent number: 8006704
Abstract: A pet nail filing device for filing down a pet's nails in a quick and painless fashion. The filing device has a housing and a rotating grinding drum within the housing. A motor is connected to a drive belt which causes the grinding drum to rotate while isolating the grinding drum, and thus the animal, from vibration. The grinding drum has an outer surface covered with grit. When the pet's nail is brought into contact with the drum outer surface, the grit coupled with the rotation of the drum both conditions the nail for grooming by causing the vein to retract, and also causes the nail to be filed down. A mask cover exposes only a portion of the grinding drum through openings therein, and thereby avoids trauma to the animal.

  • Patent number: 7966973
Abstract: An incubation container, for stabilizing reptile eggs during incubation, having a main part and a lid. The main part has side walls, a bottom, and an open top which together define an interior volume, and a lid for selectively closing the open top and making the interior volume air-tight. A ledge extending around the side walls substantially parallel to the bottom and supports a support surface having a plurality of openings arranged in a grid. Reptile eggs rest upon the support surface during incubation. Stabilizing rods are secured to the support surface to hold the eggs in a consistent position using plugs which extend downwardly from a lower surface of the rods. Moisture absorbing material is located on the bottom of the container to maintain humidity during incubation.

  • Patent number: 7815517
Abstract: A feedback device, for use by a golfer to indicate head movement during a backswing. The device has a base, a forward plate having a transparent portion with a printed horizontal line thereupon, and a parallel mirrored surface located behind the forward plate. A reflected horizontal line is selectively viewed through the transparent portion. When the device is viewed at a first viewing angle, only a single line is visible, such that the reflected horizontal line is blocked from the golfer's view by the printed horizontal line. When the device is viewed at a second viewing angle, both lines are visible. Accordingly vertical head movement during the backswing is immediately apparent to the golfer when both lines become visible during the backswing.
