Abstract: An electronic endoscope system is provided that includes an RGB transformer, an R-signal amplifier, and a GB-signal amplifier. The RGB transformer transforms image signals to RGB signals. The R-signal amplifier changes the amplitude of the R signals of the RGB signals to a predetermined gain value. The GB-signal amplifier nonlinearly changes the amplitude of the G signals and B signals of the RGB signals.
Abstract: Provided are a method of stabilizing a leuco dye storable as a liquid for a long time, a method of reducing nonspecific color development thereof at a time of a color development reaction, and a stable liquid reagent composition using the methods. The inventors of the present invention found that coexistence of the leuco dye with a specific reducing agent resulted in suppression of self color development and its remarkably improved stability in a solution, and that when a color development reaction of the leuco dye with hydrogen peroxide was performed, coexistence of the leuco dye, in a reaction solution, with another dye which had an absorption spectrum not influencing a measurement wavelength of the leuco dye and did not react with hydrogen peroxide suppressed nonspecific color development and lowered a reagent blank value, which was applied to an analytical reagent.

Abstract: Each of the pawls that are capable of rotationally locking a reclining device has a hardness greater than a slide cam that is capable of pressing the pawls to engage a ratchet. When a large load capable of forcibly rotationally displacing the ratchet is applied thereto while the pawls mesh with the ratchet, the pawls are pressed by the ratchet in a radially inward direction in which the pawls are disengaged therefrom, so as to press the slide cam with an increased buckling strength and plastically deform the same.

Abstract: A method and means for identifying the authenticity and the genuine nature of a solid or liquid bulk material, by incorporating a marking composition containing at least one trace ion into the said bulk material, whereby the total concentration of the incorporated trace ions in the market bulk material is chosen to be lower than the corresponding concentration of the same ions in standard sea water. The authenticity and the genuine nature or the adulteration level of the marked bulk material can be tested in-the-field using electrochemical sensors, and confirmed in the laboratory using a method such as atomic absorption spectroscopy, ion chromatography or mass spectrometry.

The aqueous film coating solution of the present invention comprises an ethyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate copolymer dispersion, a methacrylic acid copolymer LD, a plasticizer, titanium oxide and water, wherein the solid mass ratio of the ethyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate copolymer dispersion, the methacrylic acid copolymer LD, the plasticizer and the titanium oxide is 100:(40 to 100):(5 to 50):(5 to 30) and the solid content thereof is 5 to 20 mass %.
Abstract: A display sheet includes a substrate; front-side and rear-side synthetic resin composition layers formed on front and rear surfaces, respectively, of the substrate; and an ink layer formed by ink-jet on the front-side synthetic resin composition layer. The substrate is made of sailcloth having projections and depressions on front and rear surfaces thereof. A surface of the front-side synthetic resin composition layer is formed on an irregular surface having projections and depressions attributed to the projections and depressions of the surface of the substrate. The ink layer is formed by causing a fine ink to cover the projections and permeate the depressions.

Abstract: A scalable encoding device capable of reducing an encoding rate to reduce a circuit scale while preventing sound quality deterioration of a decoded signal. An extension layer is coarsely divided into a system for processing a first channel and a system for processing a second channel. A sound source predictor for processing the first channel predicts a drive sound source signal of the first channel from a drive sound source signal of a monaural signal, and outputs the predicted drive sound source signal through a multiplier to a first CELP encoder. A sound source predictor for processing the second channel predicts the drive sound source signal of the second channel from the drive sound source signal of the monaural signal and the output from the first CELP encoder, and outputs the predicted drive sound source signal through a multiplier to a second CELP encoder.
