  • Patent number: 6595715
Abstract: An integral one-piece metallic guiderail post comprising a contoured leg portion and vertically offset upper end portion onto which a guiderail can be selectively secured. The contoured upper end portion has a vertically oriented rail-mounting surface with an angularly inclined front surface extending therefrom. Elongated support flanges extend from the contoured leg and vertically offset portions in spaced parallel relation to one another. The vertical offset rail engagement portion partially overlies the leg portion effectively transferring vertical impact load on the vertical offset rail portion to the leg portion for ground mounting engagement.

  • Patent number: 6564603
Abstract: A security replacement cam to prevent the unauthorized removal of a lock cylinder from the lock case. The lock cylinder has an activation cam rotatable by a keyed cylinder plug having a cam surface extension that engages a locking means in the locked case. Security cam replaces the original cam and has a locking mechanism cam surface and a secondary oppositely disposed security cam extension surface that extends beyond the lock cylinder when in locked position. This prevents the lock cylinder from being removed from the case thus blocking access to the lock mechanism by unauthorized users.

  • Patent number: 6537168
Abstract: An arrangement of interlinking gear assemblies to define multiple motion control input, output and directional mechanisms capable of varied speed and directional output for constant or varied input sources. The gear assemblies utilize three basic gear elements, that of bevel gear, planetary and spur gear formats to achieve a phase angle control system. Different gear element assembly applications achieve a variety of multiple use and applications including differential, directional change, speed control, compressor use, P.T.O. cycle timer and transmissions of all types including bicycles. Manual and automatic control of transmissions adjustment is dependent on relative input speed to control respective output and selective feedback.

  • Patent number: 6514128
Abstract: An apparatus for recovering and cleaning contaminated abrasive blast media. A transportation assembly supplies contaminated blast media to an in feed cylinder within a rotating drum separator. The drum separator is formed from a plurality of elongated spaced parallel-aligned elements that define gradation openings between adjacent elements. The blast media is transported within the drum along the gradation interior surface. An internal spiral vein on the inside of the drum surface moves the media progressively through the drums exposing it to different areas of the drum surface having different gradation configurations. An air wash separator receives filtered blast media from the drum for final separation processing and reuse.
