Abstract: A system and method includes surgical instrumentation, implants, bone graft material, and measurement equipment to enable a spine fusion procedure to proceed more accurately, efficiently and safely by allowing precision measurement of the characteristics of the intervertebral space, selection of and provision of new implants, placement of an intervertebral implant, all where improved healing thereafter takes place.
Abstract: A shaped bead structure provides a bottom sealing periphery adjacent a non-bonding portion which may include an upper portion which may provide upper envelope stability and may but will preferably not bond to the glass envelope. The provision of a section of the glass envelope free of bonding above the lower peripheral sealing provides a leveraged stability to the upper portion of the glass envelope, and provides an annular space to prevent vertical spreading of a wetted glass envelope sealing zone with respect to a significant length of the glass envelope leaving it in tact and enabling it to “break” any vertically extending wetted interface and thus disrupt distortion forces. The use of two or more structures to provide a significant annular area of non-contact with the annular envelope can help to provide a structure which is not complex and easy to manufacture.
Abstract: A light generating flashlight system device utilizes a large centrally located magnet which is mounted to slide past a magnet pickup or current induction wire which may be preferably mounted at a center point of travel in a tubular housing having a tubular chamber through which the magnet travels. A pair of elastomeric dampers are located each at the end of a support system sleeve which is sized to fit within a main housing to stabilize all internal support within a sealed unit. The result is a device which both facilitates the manual movement of the flashlight body so that the magnet slides past the center magnet pickup or current induction wire, and also conserves the residual momentum of the magnet once it has traveled past the magnet pickup or current induction wire by providing a bumper and spring to conserve some of the mechanical energy going in the other direction. Ninety second of manual activation enables about five minutes of illumination.
Abstract: An audio lanyard audio device provides a number of advantages not seen with earlier devices, including, (1) a pair of soft openings to accept the ear pieces of conventional eyewear in a manner that supports and engages several inches of the ear pieces of conventional eyewear with sufficient surface area and friction to hold the conventional eyewear securely, (2) provision of a length of softer foam material for fitting both the lanyard and convention eyewear ear pieces between the ear and head, (3) formation of a balanced combination when worn with conventional eyewear, and (4) the location of the controls and main electronics and battery at the rear for balance and easy reach by a user.

Abstract: A multiple swivel flashlight provides a stable housing with flat bottom for ready support on most surfaces, as well as a pair of lamp reflector arms which are either conducting or carry conductors to supply the reflectors with the voltage and current needed to drive the lamps. Where the exterior of the support arms are conducting, they are either coated or painted to insulate the exterior. Where the support arms are non-conducting, conductors are either inlaid or attached, preferably along the interior surface of the conductors. The support arms support the reflectors at an angle in order to enable the user to optimally adjust the position of the multiple swivel flashlight.
Abstract: Dilute chemical carrying systems include multiple embodiments of pressurizable and gravity feed reservoirs, and are provided for support and carriage of a segregated accommodation space, in some cases separately provided and in others integrally provided, for metered introduction of a concentrate into such reservoir. The structures both provide storage for concentrated chemical containers, and metered measurement while eliminating waste, make up time and minimizing contact between workers and the chemicals or nutrients in their concentrated state. Metering may be preferably provided by a pump assembly, and operational blocking of the pump assembly may be provided in separate or integrated structures. A concentrate container system enables users to recycle sealed containers to even further eliminate the necessity to directly handle concentrate.
