  • Patent number: 8300829
Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for enabling verification key handling is disclosed. Said handling is enabled by receiving a verification key including an identifier of the parent verification key of the verification key, wherein the verification key includes a constraint portion, determining whether the constraint portion of the verification key corresponds to the constraint portion of the parent verification key, associating, in case the constraint portion of the verification key corresponds to the constraint portion of the parent verification key, the verification key with a particular state update, and storing the verification key associated with the particular state update.

  • Patent number: 8301613
Abstract: Disclosed is a method, system and a computer program for correlating an incident service ticket with an incident resource ticket. The method includes, in response to a creation of an incident service ticket in a certain service category; searching with a data processor for open incident resource tickets of the same or similar category; searching with the data processor based on a set of similarity rules for corresponding critical configuration items defined in business service configuration items and, if both searches succeed, searching with the data processor found incident resource tickets ordered by time using found critical configuration items and, if a match is found, declaring the incident service ticket to be correlated with the matching incident resource ticket.

  • Patent number: 8300587
Abstract: A scrambling sequence is initialized using at least a cell identifier and an offset, and a physical downlink control information DCI is sent to a user equipment which indicates the offset. In more particular embodiments a user equipment-specific reference signal UE-RS is scrambled using the initialized scrambling sequence, and the scrambled UE-RS is sent to the UE for demodulating a downlink shared channel (PDSCH). In another exemplary embodiment the generated UE-RS is sent in a pilot part of a subframe transmission associated with the PDSCH and is for demodulating at least a data part of that subframe transmission. In a specific embodiment from the UE side, the UE receives the UE-RS and the DCI which indicates the offset, descrambles the UE-RS using a scrambling sequence that is initialized using a cell identifier and the indicated offset; and demodulates the PDSCH using the de-scrambled UE-RS.

  • Patent number: 8297992
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes first and second connectors connectable to each other. The first connector has a first housing and a locking lever detachably and movably coupled thereto. The second connector has a second housing and a pair of protuberances formed on external surface of the second housing. When the locking lever is at an open position, first and second connectors are ready to be connected together. When the locking lever moves away from the open position towards a close position, the first and second connectors are guided by the locking lever to connect together and are prevented from being separated. A pair of stoppers are formed on the locking lever which engages the first housing to lock the lever at the open position. When the second connector is inserted into the first connector, the stoppers are released to allow the locking lever to move towards the close position.

  • Patent number: 8301911
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for allowing multiple applications to manage their respective data in a device (100, 200) having a secure environment (104, 204, 211) to which access is strictly controlled. The idea of the invention is that a storage area is allocated (301) within the secure environment (104, 204, 211) of a device (100, 200). The storage area is associated (302) with an identity of an application, the associated identity is stored (303) in the secure environment (104, 204, 211) and access to the storage area is controlled (304) by verifying correspondence between the associated identity and the identity of an accessing application. This is advantageous, since it is possible for the accessing application to read, write and modify objects, such as cryptographic keys, intermediate cryptographic calculation results and passwords, in the allocated storage area.

  • Patent number: 8289935
Abstract: From the network perspective, an uplink resource allocation (PDCCH) is sent that grants an uplink resource to a plurality of user equipments UEs, and the allocation has an indication of a cyclic shift CS for each of the plurality of UEs. The granted uplink resource is mapped to a downlink resource (PHICH) in dependence on the indicated CS for each of the plurality of UEs. The mapping is such that for a predetermined number of UEs being allocated a same uplink resource in a single MU-MIMO uplink resource allocation grant, each pair of said predetermined number of UEs which map to an adjacent downlink resource exhibit an optimized CS relative to one another. The network sends to each of the respective plurality of UEs on the respective mapped downlink resource an indication (ACK/NACK) about data received (on a PUSCH).

  • Patent number: 8288955
Abstract: Light emitting diodes (LEDs) are commonly used to backlight liquid crystal display screens for mobile telephones and other display devices. It may be desirable for the LEDs to be gradually dimmed and this can result in noise being emitted by the components of the driving circuit, along with other undesirable effects. A device for driving a circuit element is provided, comprising a voltage source (6, 7, 8) for generating a pulse width modulated (PWM) output voltage signal, a capacitor (9) arranged to filter the PWM output voltage signal; and a switching element (13) characterized in that the switching element (13) is synchronized with the PWM output voltage signal such that when the PWM output voltage signal is at a minimum, the switching element (13) isolates the capacitor (9) and so prevents the capacitor (9) from discharging.
