  • Patent number: 4632586
Abstract: A document file folder of the type having a flat metallic fastening member is improved by crimping the ends of its metallic fastening member so as to bring the parallel sides of the ends of the flat metallic member toward one another to form a protrusion on each of the ends of the flat metallic member. An element is formed so as to be essentially U-shaped and have hollow ends. The hollow ends of the element are sized and shaped so as to receive the crimped ends of the metallic fastening member so as to facilitate removal of overlying documents from said document file folder, insertion of a document onto said fastening members and replacement of the removed documents back onto the metallic fastening member.

  • Patent number: 4631040
Abstract: A toy construction set has a variety of component parts including bases, houses, and auxiliary members. Male and female connecting elements attached to the respective components allow for assembly of the components in a variety of configurations. To connect the components, one or more of a first male connector which is formed as a truncated cone and a first female connector which is formed as a corresponding truncated boss, are frictionally fit to one another. The first male and female connectors are appropriately formed on the bases, housings, and auxiliary members. Further, a second connecting system utilizing a second female connector formed as a cylindrical opening and an elongated cylindrical element can be utilized to connect other of these components together. Utilizing the components of the invention, a variety of spacial configurations can be made, such as forming vehicle like trucks, helicopters, and construction equipment such as backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, and the like.

  • Patent number: 4602790
Abstract: A game of skill has a housing with a hollow drum mounted inside the housing. A transparent indicia strip is mounted on the drum. A spring is positioned in front of the drum, and a light is located within the interior of the drum such that the light illuminates the indicia strip to cast an image of the strip on the screen. The light is connected to a handle which is controlled by the operator, whereby the image of the indicia is moved across the screen depending upon the operator movement of the handle. The handle further includes a fire button connected to a control mechanism which senses the concurrent depression of the fire button and the location of an image of the indicia on the screen in a target area outlined on the screen.

  • Patent number: 4601504
Abstract: A high security lock of the type having a base, a bolt which moves on the base and engages a strike, and a dead lock tripper which interacts with the strike to automatically lock the bolt is improved by including a lock prevent member in association with the bolt. The lock prevent member inhibits the bolt from moving from an unlocked to a locked position in spite of the dead lock tripper interacting with the strike. A secondary key can be used to inactivate the lock prevent member such that the lock returns to its normal mode of operation with the interaction of the dead lock tripper and the strike automatically locking the lock.
