  • Patent number: 7075739
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly for correcting laser illumination emitted from a laser light source, comprising a laser light source, which has linear emission sources that are arranged in a row in a first direction (X), whereby in addition, the emission sources that are arranged essentially in a row are at least partially offset relative to the row in a perpendicular direction (Y) in relation to the first direction (X). The assembly also comprises corrective elements, which can correct the laser illumination emitted from the laser light source in such a way that the spatial distortion of the laser illumination, caused by the offset position of the emission sources relative to the row, is compensated. According to the invention, the corrective elements are configured as a plate array that comprises a number of plate elements consisting of substantially plane-parallel plates that are transparent to the laser illumination used.

  • Patent number: 7066349
Abstract: A thin, plastic dispenser for discharging toothpicks, and/or mints through distinct discharge passages in the dispenser. The dispenser has a body comprising a first housing and a second housing that are aligned and snapped together to form the body of the dispenser. A well is defined in the body for storing toothpicks, and a first discharge passage is provided in the well. A larger chamber is defined in the body for storing mints, and a second discharge passage is provided in the chamber. Locking levers, integrally formed with one of the housings, normally seal the discharge passages in the well and the chamber. When the user wishes to discharge a toothpick and/or mint, the manually engages a locking lever and pivots same about its hinge line to expose the adjacent discharge passage. The contents of the well and/or chamber can then be discharged, through the exposed discharge passages vacated by the movement of the locking lever.

  • Patent number: 7069160
Abstract: An intrusion detection system and method utilizing a power transmission cable connected to a source of radio frequency signals. A data transmission cable is associated with the power transmission cable and is provided with a plurality of radio frequency identification chips. The power transmission cable would induce an electromagnetic field within the data transmission cable allowing each of the RFID chips to transmit a signal during normal operation. However, if an intrusion occurs or the power transmission cable or data transmission cable is severed, the system according to the present invention, would be able to determine the exact point of intrusion based upon the signals received or not received from the RFID chips.

  • Patent number: 7063736
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrically conductive coating which is producible by hydrolytic condensation of a mixture including at least one hydrolysable silicon compound of general formula SiXnR(4-n) (I), wherein at least one of the R radicals is a mercapto-substituted alkyl or aryl group and is a compound of general formula ZaSiYbR(4-a-b) (II), wherein the Z radical is for example a quaternary ammonium salt, whereby the mixture to be hydrolytically condensed comprises at least one portion of an ether containing and alkyl group. The coating is particularly suitable for toner transfer drums and has high scratch resistance and good adhesion to the substrate.

  • Patent number: 7061779
Abstract: A power factor correction circuit structure is described. The power factor correction circuit comprises a series connection of a first winding, a diode, an inductor and a first capacitor. The polarity of the first winding is opposite to that of the primary winding. A second capacitor is connected to the primary winding to control the primary winding and build a voltage across the first capacitor. This voltage is transferred to the first winding through the transformer to boost the first capacitor voltage and improve the power factor.

  • Patent number: 7056821
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a dual damascene structure, which forms a trench first, is described. The manufacturing method has following steps. First, a substrate with a plurality of semiconductor devices is provided. A first metal layer, a first etching stop layer, a dielectric layer, and a second etching stop layer are subsequently formed thereon. A trench is formed in the dielectric layer at a predetermined depth thereafter, and a sacrificial layer is filled therein and is next planarized. Then a photoresist layer is formed thereon for etching a via. Afterward the photoresist layer and the sacrificial layer are both removed. Following that, the first etching stop layer is etched through to expose the first metal layer. Finally, the via and the trench are filled with a second metal layer.
