Abstract: The present invention relates to chewing gum and confectionery compositions for improving the dental health of mammals, particularly humans. In particular, the compositions may include a gum base or carrier, sweetening agents, casein phosphopeptide-calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) and food-grade acids. The compositions may be employed to remineralize the tooth surfaces of mammals, as well as impart acid resistance thereto.
Abstract: A continually adapted pulse-to-pulse shift, performed in the azimuth direction, of the phase center which is electrically active on the side of the transmitting antenna (Tx; Tx1, Tx2, Tx3), in connection with the SAR antenna control of a multi-aperture SAR system is designed such that, in the case of an existing pulse repetition frequency (PRF) due to the likewise shifted position of the effective phase center of the entire antenna (Tx; Tx1, Tx2, Tx3; Rx; Rx1, Rx2, Rx3), a compensation or complete correction of non-equidistant scanning in the azimuth direction is achieved. The principle of the pulse-to-pulse shift of the position of the effective phase center of the antenna for achieving the best possible equidistant scanning can be expanded to the side of the receiving antenna (Rx; Rx1, Rx2, Rx3) and to multi-aperture antennas. The technological solution proposed by the invention can be advantageously combined with a subsequent digital beam formation on the receiving antenna side.

Abstract: A system for setting tiles uses a number of tile assemblies and joining elements (21a) interconnecting adjacent tile assemblies. Each tile assembly—has a tile member (3a) and a support member. The support member is connected to the underside of the tile member, and is provided with recesses for accommodating parts of the joining elements. The support member has a number of openings and/or projections (12a) extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the tile member. The joining element has an elongate strip-like member provided with openings (30a) and/or projections fitting into corresponding projections and/or openings of the support members of two adjacent tile assemblies.
Abstract: A novel method for forming a pattern capable of decreasing the number of steps in a double patterning process, and a material for forming a coating film suitably used in the method for forming a pattern are provided. First resist film (2) is formed by applying a first chemically amplified resist composition on support (1), and thus formed film is selectively exposed, and developed to form multiple first resist patterns (3). Next, on the surface of the first resist patterns (3) are formed multiple coating patterns (5) by forming coating films (4) constituted with a water soluble resin film, respectively. Furthermore, a second chemically amplified resist composition is applied on the support (1) having the coating pattern (5) formed thereon to form second resist film (6), which is selectively exposed and developed to form multiple second resist patterns (7). Accordingly, a pattern including the coating patterns (5) and the second resist patterns (7) is formed on the support (1).

Abstract: The present inventors devised, among other things, system, methods, and interfaces for researching, evaluating, and comparing expert witnesses. One exemplary system includes interfaces that facilitate users entering queries regarding experts based on name or subject matter and filtering search results based on damage awards, case types, attorneys, clients and date range. The system also enables side-by-side comparisons of the cumulative litigation history for multiple experts, and provides an expert challenge report that indicates whether an expert has been challenged in past litigation, the result of any challenges, the presiding judges in the any challenges, and the text of the challenged testimony.

Abstract: An electric circuitry for a portable electronic device is presented. The electric circuitry includes a first printed circuit board comprising at least one electrical component attached to and extending from a surface of the first printed circuit board. The electric circuitry further comprises a second printed circuit board arranged to be coupled with the first printed circuit board and comprising at least one recess or hole arranged to receive the at least one electrical component extending from the surface of the first printed circuit board when the first circuit board and the second printed circuit board are coupled to each other.
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for interbody fusion including distracting, in a given direction, and supporting opposing vertebral bodies. A plurality of wafers are consecutively inserted between the vertebral bodies to create a column of wafers. The column of wafers is oriented between the vertebral bodies so as to expand in the given direction as the wafers are consecutively added to the column.

Abstract: A combustion gas furnace includes a plurality of primary heat exchangers for passage of combustion gases therethrough. A plurality of secondary heat exchangers receive the combustion gases from the primary heat exchanger. Each of the secondary heat exchangers includes a heat conductive element defining a plurality of elongate passageways for the flow of combustion gas therethrough. The passageways include aligned ports at either end thereof. The passageways are generally aligned and separated by longitudinal walls extending between the ends. The walls are positioned for heat conductive contact with the combustion gases flowing through passageways.
Abstract: A method for detecting a communication relay attack involves the steps of counting a number of clock cycles occurring in a clock signal between transmission of two predetermined elements of data with a data transmission device, counting a number of clock cycles occurring in the clock signal between receipt of the two predefined elements of data and comparing the number of clock cycles counted by the data transmission device with the number of clock cycles counted by the data receiving device.
Abstract: A garment hanger having a fold over paper sizer. The hanger includes a sizer-receiving web defining opposing sizer-receiving slots. A paper sizer is folded from a flat unfolded state to a folded U-shaped state, and then installed about the web such that a first edge of the sizer is received within the first sizer-receiving slot and a second edge of the sizer is received within the second sizer-receiving slot.
Abstract: A first group of core network (CN) nodes are arranged for transmitting a change request from a source to a target radio network controller (RNC), to a CN node selected from the set of CN nodes to which the target RNC is connected. Relating to a communication in progress with a first RNC (11) and a first CN node (13), for which a change from the first to a second RNC (12) is requested: the change request is transmitted from the first CN node to a second CN node (14) of the first group, and is forwarded from the second to a third CN node (15) selected, according to predetermined criteria, from the set of CN nodes to which the second RNC is connected.
Abstract: The invention relates to isolated anti-microRNA molecules. In another embodiment, the invention relates to an isolated microRNA molecule. In yet another embodiment, the invention provides a method for inhibiting microRNP activity in a cell.

Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for detecting anomalous web proxy activity by end-users are disclosed. The techniques include analyzing records from a web proxy log and determining whether the records contain anomalous end-user activity by inspecting a uniform resource locator and a connect instruction included therein. The techniques also include generating an alert in response to the analysis.
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to verifying query results of an untrusted server. A data owner outsources a data stream to the untrusted server, which is configured to respond to a query from a client with the query result, which is returned to the client. The data owner can maintain a vector associated with query results returned by the server and can generate a verification synopsis using the vector and a seed. The verification synopsis includes a polynomial, where coefficients of the polynomial are determined based on the seed. The data owner outputs the verification synopsis and the seed to a client for verification of the query results.
