Abstract: In order to enable a turning of a key of a lock cylinder onto a driven member (shaft 36) in the lock cylinder only when a proper key is inserted, yet to prohibit the turning in case of an overload, an overload lock is arranged therebetween. The driven member (shaft 36) should specifically actuate functions in the vehicle only if the correct key is used. A threshold rotation torque determines the change between the normal and the overload state. In order to improve the lock cylinder, it is furnished that a disengaging lever (40) is mounted in the cylinder housing (30) in a pivotable manner (42) and can be displaced between two pivot positions in a radial plane defined by the longitudinal axis (13) of the lock cylinder. A locking cam (41) belonging to the overload lock is arranged on the free end of the disengaging lever (40).
Abstract: According to the invention preparation for regeneration of bone defects is employed in many branches of medicine, especially in orthopedics, dental surgery, reconstructive surgery, periodonthology and implantology. The preparation has been developed on the basis of inorganic chemical compound naturally occurring, i.e. deproteinized human bone, and on the basis of at least one of inorganic chemical compounds synthetically occurring, i.e. bioglass in the form of granulated high calcium product (54% mol. CaO), obtained with the use of zol-gel method in the system CaO—SiO2—P2O5, of density 2.9082 g/cm3, with phase composition with a dominant glassy phase and beginnings of crystallization of apatite, heat treated at temperature of 800° C., having a specific surface BET 57.8166 m2/g and/or tricalcium phosphate—TCP in the form of granulated product with chemical formula Ca3 (PO4)2. As a component deproteinized particles of human bone are used, favorably with granulation 0.3-0.

Abstract: The invention relates to a simple Fresnel structure that can be produced automatically and easily, and can be used for broad application in the use of solar energy or as a reflector in the lighting industry. A Fresnel mirror according to the invention for the directed reflection of light is made of a flat carrier part (10) having a Fresnel structure (20) on the upper side thereof, wherein the individual steps (21, 22, 23) of the Fresnel structure (20) have a reflective surface as an active surface (30).
Abstract: A housing for a search-antenna polarization instrument is formed by two housing shells (2, 3) which are plugged together in an interlocking manner. A depression can be formed on the outside of the housing, as a positioning surface (12 to 16) for an alignment instrument. Furthermore, a direction-finding groove (19, 20, 21) can be formed on a housing wall. One housing wall may also have a respectively rising extremely profile on two opposite ones of its four side edges. This improves the direction-finding accuracy of a search-antenna polarization instrument.
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for production of a device for thermally induced field emission of particles for particle optical devices such as in particular electron or ion microscopes, having at least one particle emitter (3) arranged in or pointing into a vacuum space (2) with at least one field emitter tip (4) for the emission of the particles, and having a magnetic field generator (6) attributed to the particle emitter (3) for focussing of the emitted particle beam (5), with the particle emitter (3) with its field emitter tip (4) is built by emitter structures (9) positioned on the surface (7) of a substrate (8) which is turned away from the magnetic field generator (6), and the substrate (8) formed as separating wall between vacuum space (2) and the atmospheric space (10) situated outside the vacuum space (2) at the side (14) of the substrate (8) which is turned away from the emitter structures (9).
Abstract: New thieno[3,4-b]pyrazine copolymers are prepared by reacting 5,7-functionalized thieno[3,4-b]pyrazines with substituted aromatics in the presence of solvents, bases and polymerization catalysts, the copolymers thus prepared being employed preferably in the production of photovoltaic cells.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to improve the efficiency of internal combustion engines in which compression and combustion of an Air/Fuel mixture is carried out without a compression stroke as used in conventional internal combustion engines and expansion of the combusted mixture is performed to increase the expansion ratio resulting in an increase in the amount of work extracted. An externally compressed Air/Fuel Mixture is combusted in a variable volume combustion chamber and expanded into a conventional cylinder displacing a power piston to produce rotation of a crankshaft to drive a vehicle or other device. Separation of the variable volume combustion chamber from the conventional cylinder eliminates the conventional Otto Cycle compression stroke and provides a substantially larger expansion ratio than the compression ratio in a conventional engine.
Abstract: A hand tensiometer for measuring the surface tension of liquids or for measuring of substance concentrations in a liquid wherein a gas volume stream entered from a gas source (10) through a buffer storage (11) into a measuring capillary (3) forms bubbles in the liquid at the end of the measuring capillary (3), and wherein means for steady measuring and for adjusting the gas volume stream are furnished.
Abstract: The invention relates to a flat heater, which is used for applications in the range of heating voltages of up to 1000 V, produces attainable powers of up to 2 kW/m2 and is characterized by the fact that the electrical resistance required for the heating is formed by an electrically conductive cellulose nonwoven. Metallic contacts which are incorporated ensure the connection of the conductive cellulose nonwoven to a voltage source. Polymer films applied on both sides provide mechanical and electrical protection and prevent the ingress of moisture into the cellulose nonwoven.

Abstract: A flow energy installation with a roller-like rotor (1) is presented. The roller-like rotor (1) rotates about an axis (A1) and has a plurality of rotor blades (2). One of the rotor blades (2), a plurality of the rotor blades (2) or all rotor blades (2) have associated with themselves at least one efficiency-improving fluid conducting fin (3) which in the direction of rotation is arranged upstream or downstream of the rotor blade (2). The rotor (1) is at least partly surrounded by at least one efficiency-improving diffuser element. The flow energy installation can be operated with liquid and/or gaseous media at any desired orientation of the axis (A1).

Abstract: An oscillator circuit according to the invention comprises an oscillator with a toggle circuit having an output and an inverting input, whereby the output is connected to the inverting input via a feedback resistor, the inverting input is connected, for example, to the ground, via a first oscillator capacitor, and also connected, for example, to the ground, via a second oscillator capacitor and via a control resistor whose value can be adjusted or electrically controlled, so that the frequency of the oscillator can be varied by increasing or decreasing the value of the control resistor. In order to control the value of the control resistor, preferably a modulated 1-bit signal is used that is integrated by an integrator. Preferably, the oscillator is an integral part of a closed-loop control circuit in which the frequency of the oscillator forms the actual value and a predefined target frequency forms the target value.
Abstract: A blocking element for a gate used as a checkpoint includes a housing having a height, a support having a second height and arranged in the housing, a horizontally directed pivot axis furnished on the support, and a pair of blocking vanes each of which are in a form of a circle sector, wherein the pair of blocking vanes are mounted, by way of a tapering sector inner side of the blocking vanes and such that the blocking vanes can pivot about the horizontally directed pivot axis. A drive motor is connected to the blocking vanes on the pivot axis, wherein the drive motor in response to a signal, slides one of the blocking vanes into the other in a telescopic manner from a position which blocks a passage of the gate into a position, which opens the passage of the gate, and wherein the blocking vanes can be drawn apart from one another in order to again block the passage of the gate.

Abstract: A universal double-jointed coupling for railway vehicles with two joint levels comprises two coupling joints which are interconnected via a shaft that is surrounded by a hollow pinion shaft in order to transmit torque by means of said hollow pinion shaft. One joint level is assigned to a coupling joint encompassing a crowned gear that has angular and axial compensation capability while the other joint level is associated with a torsion-proof, flexible coupling joint.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a variety of an apple tree obtained by branch mutation and by selection of the variety ‘Golden Clone B’. The present invention variety ‘Golden Parsi’ exhibits an appropriate distinguishability, homogeneity, uniformity, and stability. The vigor of the tree is medium. The tree type is ramified. The habit of the apple tree is spreading. The pubescence on an upper half of a shoot is weak or similar to the pubescence in ‘Golden Delicious’. The thickness as measured by the diameter at the center is medium or similar to the thickness in ‘Jonagold’ for a one year old shoot. The number of lenticels is many for a one year old shoot. The predominant color of a flower is dark pink in a balloon stage. An overcolor appears early in season with a brown-red color. The overcolor disappears almost totally, and toward harvest increases and gets red. The overcolor remains red even after months of storage.
