  • Patent number: 7781194
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for using biomass in a biogas process. The aim of the invention is to use substrates having a high nitrogen and solid content, and which using a small amount of water, has very good energy balance and is particularly environmentally friendly. Said aim is achieved by the virtue of the fact that the substrate is treated with a recirculated product in order to form a pumpable medium, and additionally treated with bacteria in cyclones and fermenters, which simultaneously removes the nitrogen in a stripping process, separates the solid fermentation radicals and further uses the recirculated product as a heat-exchanger and reaction medium. Said process is environmentally friendly and has a very good energy balance.

  • Patent number: 7711084
Abstract: A CT scanner is employed having a first coordinate system called the CT coordinate system related to the CT scanner for determining an actual position of a structure of an object to be examined. A coordinate measuring instrument (MI) is employed which is either a tactile or an optical or multisensor or an ultrasonic coordinate measuring instrument and which has a second coordinate system, the MI coordinate system, related to said coordinate measuring instrument. According to a variant, a) the coordinates of the object are determined in the MI coordinate system, b) the target position of the structure is predefined, c) after steps a) and b) the target position is determined in the MI coordinate system, d) and, the object is positioned in such a way that the target position of the structure comes to lie within a volume detected by the CT scanner using the result of step c).

  • Patent number: 7621512
Abstract: The invention relates to a steam injection module (1), suitable for a unit for the pasteurization or sterilization of liquid to highly viscous food products. A steam tube (2) passes through a product line section (3), transverse to the longitudinal axis, made homogeneously from a single material by cutting with no welded seams. This steam tube (2) exhibits steam outlet openings (7) within the product line section (3). The hot steam at about 150 degrees centigrade is injected into the flowing product through the steam outlet openings. The product line section (3) and this steam cube (2) are each fixed by fixing flanges (8, 8?, 9,9?) in the total line set of the unit.
