Abstract: In an image creating device (201) for creating an image viewably showing the distribution of an environment parameter of the environment around a character in a virtual space, a parameter acquiring unit (202) acquires an environment parameter of the environment around a character in each direction from the character, a reference curve setting unit (203) sets a reference curve surrounding the character, a trajectory point setting unit (204) sets a trajectory point in a position moved in a predetermined direction from each reference point in the reference curve by an amount of move associated with the value of the environment parameter at the reference point acquired in the direction from the character toward the reference point, and an image creating unit (205) creates an image showing the trajectory curve passing through the set trajectory points and the character viewed from the point of view placed in the virtual space.
Abstract: A music information memory unit stores music information including identification information on each piece of music and pace information thereof. A process control unit selects out a predetermined number of pieces of music information each of whose identification information is to be presented from the music information memory unit. A notification image generating unit generates a notification image in which an object is moved in a scrolling manner based on the pace information of each piece of the selected music information. An image display control unit synthesizes the identification information of each piece of the selected music information with each of the generated notification images, and displays the synthesized image.
Abstract: A wall-mounted device (1) which ensures easy confirmation of the mounting of a to-be-mounted-on-wall object on a wall surface or the like, and can prevent the to-be-mounted-on-wall object from falling off, and a timepiece having the device are provided. First, an attachment fitting (30) is fixed to the wall surface or the like by screws. Then, a hook part (30a) of the attachment fitting (30) is hooked on a hanging part (13) of the wall-mounted device (1) while deforming an elastic plate member (10) inward. When deformation of the elastic plate member (10) is released, vibration occurs together with generation of a light impact sound at the time the elastic plate member returns from the deformed state to the original state. With a first bent part (10a) of the elastic plate member (10) being in abutment with the hook part (30a) of the attachment fitting (30), the to-be-mounted-on-wall object is mounted on the wall surface or the like.
Abstract: A method and device for producing metal foils using the foil-casting principle includes the steps of filling a casting frame with liquid metal, moving a substrate through the bottom of the casting frame, with the substrate belt being at a lower temperature than the melting point of the liquid metal in the bottom of the casting frame, so that a bottom layer of the liquid metal crystallizes on the substrate and a metal foil is formed on the substrate on one side of the casting frame. The method further includes the steps of measuring at least one of a thickness and weight of the metal foil, and adjusting the contact surface area between the liquid metal and the substrate as a function of the measured value for the thickness and/or weight of the foils produced.

Abstract: To detect the characteristic of the end portion of a line shape, in a line shape processing device (201), a coordinate storing unit (203) stores a first coordinate value of a point on a line in association with a second coordinate value, in regard to the shape of that line input by the user, a detecting unit (207) detects whether the shape of the end portion of the line input by the user is (a) a pennant shape where the vibration amplitude becomes narrow while vibrating, (b) a flag shape vibrating with a substantially constant vibration amplitude, or (c) a normal shape other than the shapes of (a) and (b) from the first coordinate value of the point in the stored line shape and the second coordinate value thereof based on the distribution of the extreme values of the second coordinate value.
