Abstract: A double deadbolt lock having a housing in which two latch bolts are mounted for reciprocal movement between an extended locking position and a retracted unlocked position. The bolts are in transverse alignment so as to have an elongated face on one opposite an elongated face on another. Each of the two opposite faces has a pattern of alternate, allochirally arranged lands and grooves extending obliquely away from one end of the bolts toward the other end. The housing has a keyhole extending therethrough in alignment with the said opposite faces of the bolts. The key for locking and unlocking the bolts has a shaft having a cross-sectional size and shape corresponding to the size and shape of the hole. Opposite edges of the shaft have alternate lands and grooves complementary respectively to corresponding lands and grooves of the latch bolts.

Abstract: A coupling device for towing a vehicle, the device having a first member; a mount borne by the first member for mounting the first member on a towing vehicle for substantially pivotal movement about a point of reference between alternate inclined and connecting attitudes; a second member adapted to be mounted on a vehicle to be towed and engageable with the first member for movement therealong between positions on opposite sides of the point of reference to move the first member between the inclined and connecting attitudes; and a mechanism for lockably interconnecting the first and second members in the connecting attitude.
Abstract: In combination with a pair of pivotal closure panels provided for opening and closing the opening of an open-top cargo box, an actuator including a boss affixed to and projected from each panel of the pair, a pair of actuator arms, each being characterized by an elongated body supported at one end for pivotal displacement along a path intercepted by a boss projected from an associated panel; a shaft supporting each arm of the pair, and a chain-driven sprocket mounted on the shaft for imparting angular displacement to the shaft, whereby the arm is caused to engage the boss intercepting the path thereof and force the associated panel in pivotal displacement.

Abstract: A harvesting device having a harvesting member elongated along a longitudinal axis; mounts affixing the member for rotation about an axis of rotation eccentric to the longitudinal axis of the member; and a mechanism for rotating the member about the axis of rotation to impart a crop dislodging motion.
Abstract: An apparatus for removing mold and other detritus from raisins and the like having an aqueous bath in which the raisins are immersed; an endless conveyor having an inclined, transversely grooved, planar upper run onto which the raisins are deposited from the bath; and a drive mechanism for moving the upper run upwardly in time spaced increments of stepped progression while simultaneously oscillating the conveyor longitudinally so that the mold and other detritus are abraded and shaken from the raisins and conveyed upwardly with the run while the separated raisins gravitate downwardly along the run.
Abstract: A device for securing a work object on a concrete structure in cooperation with a form used in pouring the structure, the device having an anchor member with a head portion; and a fastening member having portions for individually interconnecting the head portion of the anchor member and the form in a first attitude prior to pouring and the head portion and the work object in a second attitude subsequent to pouring.
Abstract: An apparatus for forming a port in a liner installed in a conduit having a lateral opening inwardly overlaid by the liner so that the port coincides with the lateral opening, including a carriage adjustably positionable longitudinally within the liner adjacent to the lateral opening in the conduit; a brake for locking the carriage in fixed position in the conduit; a power driven port forming tool borne by the carriage in substantial radial relation to the liner for adjustable movement outwardly to liner engagement and inwardly to retraction therefrom, for adjustable movement longitudinally of the carriage, and for adjustable rotational movement about an axis longitudinally of the carriage; control means for controlling the position of the tool on the carriage from a position remote from the carriage; and a television system having a camera mounted on the carriage having a view of the tool and a viewing screen at said remote position.
Abstract: A multi-purpose water driven tool, including a water driven turbine mounted on a shaft for rotation in a housing, the housing having an inlet connected to supply water under pressure to rotatably drive the turbine, a housing outlet to discharge the water from the housing after it has acted on the turbine, said shaft extending outwardly of the housing, and a working tool on the outer end of the shaft to be rotatably driven thereby.
