Abstract: The invention refers to a modular structure for cemetery constructions comprising at least one module of substantially parallelepiped form comprising four panels, each forming one wall of the module; at least one cover forming one end of the module; and four joints, each of them being engaged with two of the four panels forming two consecutive walls of the module. An advantage associated with the modular structure for cemetery constructions of the present invention consists of the possibility to set up on site the structure elements, panels, joints and covers, to be able to assemble a certain number of modules, whenever needed.
Abstract: A header for a combine or harvester has a frame with a longitudinal dimension transverse to a direction of travel of the combine or harvester. Two moving belts are disposed on the frame to receive cut crop from a cutter and to move the crop from outer portions of the header towards an inner portion of the header. Each of the belts has a leading edge oriented towards the direction of travel of the combine or harvester and a trailing edge oriented away from the direction of travel and each of the belts has an inner aspect disclosed in spaced relation to an inner aspect of the other of the belts such as to define a gap therebetween, the gap receiving cut crop being transported longitudinally and inwardly from the belts. An auger with a cylinder and two end cones around an axis is disposed to urge crop from the gap and from the inner aspect of the belts towards a feeder house position behind the gap. The axis of the auger is forward of the trailing edge of the belt.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system for sales process creation and tracking. The system uses a database for storing information about processes, steps, results, autotasks, deals and deal tracking. An authorized user can create or modify processes. The processes are used to determine and report on the steps completed or to be completed with respect to any deal. The system also records information with respect to the success or failure of the process and the corresponding reasons.
Abstract: This application discloses a high performance hydraulic fluid suitable for use as an aircraft hydraulic fluid comprising a major amount of tri(n-butyl)phosphate, a minor amount of a triaryl phosphate and optionally a minor amount of tri(isobutyl)phosphate. The compositions of this invention provide superior performance with respect to flash and fire points as well as extended useful fluid life in service. Such properties are highly valuable as hydraulic fluids modern jet aircrafts.
Abstract: A two-piece closure and tamper evident band assembly for use with a container neck having a peripheral bead is shown. The closure includes a top having a depending skirt. The skirt includes a break-away band frangibly connected to a bottom periphery of the skirt. The tamper evident band includes means for tearing and a lower ledge extending from a lower periphery of the band. The break-away band is positioned above the lower ledge. The closure and tamper evident band assembly is inserted onto the container neck, and when the closure is removed, the peripheral bead prevents the lower ledge and the tamper evident band from moving upward. As the closure moves up the container neck, the means for tearing tears the frangible connectors so that the break-away band and the tamper evident band remain positioned on the container.
Abstract: A method for processing a data stream including receiving a transport stream (TS), storing at least a portion of the TS, the at least a portion of the TS having a beginning and including a plurality of TS packets, determining, from among the plurality of TS packets, at least one TS packet including a candidate access point, storing in an index store a byte offset of the candidate access point; and storing in the index store a plurality of indications of byte offset, each byte offset being associated with an arrival time of a received TS packet.
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for a method of offering coupons to a consumer at a point of sale. The method includes the steps of detecting entry of an identifier of an item to be purchased by the consumer at the point of sale, searching a database to identify a coupon that provides a discount on a purchase price of the item when used with a predetermined credit card and calculating a discount offered by the coupon for purchase of the item with the predetermined credit card; and displaying the calculated discount to the consumer.
Abstract: Process for preparing a catalyst for the oxidation of methanol to formaldehyde, comprising reacting iron powder and molybdenum trioxide in a Mo/Fe ratio from 1.5 to 5 in an aqueous suspension at temperatures from 20 to 100° C., and subsequently, optionally simultaneously, oxidizing the mixture with an oxidizing agent in a quantity equal to, or greater than the quantity required for the oxidation of the ferrous ion to ferric ion and to oxidize the molybdenum to the valence state 6.

Abstract: A method and system for sending massive e-mail messages that include test messages sent to selected small portions of the global targeted audience. A message containing the text or content part of the message can be stored and retrieved for inclusion in each test message so that the content does not need to be repeatedly retyped. The audience members are selected randomly for each test so that the tests provide statistically valid results. The test results are conveniently grouped for ease of evaluation of the test feedback.
Abstract: An authentication or authorization system to facilitate electronic transactions uses simultaneous or substantially simultaneous communications on two different networks to verify a user's identity. When a user logs onto a site, via the internet, a telephone number, either pre-stored or obtained in real time from the visitor, where the visitor can be called essentially immediately is used to set up, via the switched telephone network another communication link. Where the user has multiple communication links available, the telephone call is automatically placed via the authentication or authorization software simultaneously while the user is on-line. In the event that the user has only a single communication link, that individual will have to log off temporarily for purposes of receiving the telephone call. Confirmatory information is provided via the internet to the user. The automatically placed telephone call requests that the user feed back this confirmatory information for verification purposes.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a distance sensor with a method and device that aid the compensation of mounting tolerances of a distance sensor, where compensation is provided with little effort, quickly and reliably. This is achieved by having the distance sensor (1) emit its rays (2) at an aperture angle (a) of 0.1° to 10° and pick up data while the vehicle is moving straight forward, and determining an angle error (6) by comparing the data picked up during a change of channels.
Abstract: A method of isolating, purifying and recrystallizing substantially pure lutein, preferably from saponified marigold oleoresin in its pure free form, apart from chemical impurities and other carotenoids. Lutein may be used as an analytical standard or in cancer prevention trials and as a safe and effective color additive for human food.
