  • Patent number: 7893261
Abstract: A serotonin reuptake inhibitor which can be used in the treatment of depression and which has a decreased occurrence of unwanted side effects. The serotonin reuptake inhibitors are bi-functional organic molecules which combine serotonin transporter reuptake inhibition with serotonin (5-HT, such as 5-HT2A) receptor antagonism in one molecular entity. The serotonin-selective reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) homologue portion of the molecule shows an affinity to the serotonin reuptake transporter (SERT) and has antidepressant properties. The piperazine or piperidine portion of the molecule demonstrates an affinity to 5-HT receptors and restores the undesired side effects of SSRIs.

  • Patent number: 7889516
Abstract: A cable management system with an inspection window allows a technician to see available ports in a telecommunications module. The cable management systems inspection window is substantially transparent to permit visual access to underlying ports and associated electrical connectors. The inspection window is solid to prevent physical access to the electrical connectors, thereby preventing contamination, short-circuiting or other damage. The visual access permitted by an inspection window prevents the need to remove a cable trough to find available ports, which reduces the chance of causing a disruption in service by inadvertently disconnecting a cable that is in or around the cable trough.

  • Patent number: 7884099
Abstract: The compounds include substituted rifamycin derivatives in which a quinolone carboxylic acid pharmacophore is covalently bonded to a benzoxazinorifamycin or a spiropiperidinorifamycin. The rifamycin derivatives are useful as antimicrobial agents and are effective against a number of human and veterinary Gram positive and Gram negative pathogens. The advantage of the inventive compounds is that both the rifamycin and quinolone antibacterial pharmacophores are co-delivered with matched pharmacokinetics to the targeted pathogens of interests. Delivery of multiple antibacterial pharmacophores simultaneously to the targeted pathogens has the maximum chance of achieving synergy and minimizing the development of resistance to the antibiotics given.

  • Patent number: 7884861
Abstract: A system for generating high resolution image data using a low resolution image sensor is provided. The system includes an image sensor array and an image size system determining a pixel resolution area. An image target system determines a desired pixel resolution area, and an image sensor array placement system determines two or more locations for an image sensor array based on the pixel resolution area and the desired pixel resolution area. An image composition system receives first image data of a target from the image sensor array at a first location and second image data of the target from the image sensor array at a second location and combines the first image data and the second image data to form composite image data having an effective pixel resolution area less than the pixel resolution area.

  • Patent number: 7877434
Abstract: A method for presenting forms and publishing form data are provided. A software component determines if a request for a network resource containing a form has been received. The software component then determines whether a previously compiled class file should be utilized to respond to the form request. If a previously compiled class file cannot be utilized, the software component compiles a class file capable of generating the fields of the requested form. When the class file is compiled, a field engine table is consulted and field names for the fields to be placed on the requested form are retrieved. A field name specified in the field engine table is associated with the correspondence fields in a form. When a submission containing response data for the fields in the form is received, the software component saves the response data in an output table having fields named identically to the fields in the form.

  • Patent number: 7868067
Abstract: One aspect of the current invention is a halogen containing epoxy composition and a method of producing the same. A functional halogen group, fluorine in one case, is incorporated into an epoxy coating by using a functionalized amine curing agent in small amounts. Functionalized amine curing agents are cheaper and easier to produce from small amine precursors when compared to the cost and complexity of functionalizing bulky epoxy resins. Amine curing agents are incorporated into a cured epoxy network. However, many functional groups will affect the reactivity of the curing reaction due to electronegativity effects. By using small amounts of functionalized amines with a large amount of non-functionalized agent, the effect is small and in the case of migration, it can be advantageous for tribological, mechanical and other properties of epoxies and epoxy-containing materials.

  • Patent number: 7853005
Abstract: A monitoring tool for use with one or more automatic call distributors (ACD) which automatically and continuously polls or queries the ACDs to monitor not only alarm conditions but other conditions, such as agent staffing levels, call answering time, call routing and traffic conditions. Such continuous and automatic monitoring and querying of the ACD in accordance with the present invention is thus able to improve the overall efficiency of such ACDs by improving the service response time of such ACDs. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the status records of the ACDs maybe directed to a website, for example, on an enterprise Intranet website to enable any of the company representatives with access rights to access the performance of the ACD network from any location. Other data, such as the trunk inventory record keeping system (TIRKS) may also be displayed on the website to facilitate troubleshooting of alarm conditions.

  • Patent number: 7853502
Abstract: A system for processing transaction data is provided. The system includes a substitute draft system that receives a retrieval request and generates a substitute draft in response to the retrieval request. The system also includes a merchant interface that is connected to the retrieval system. The merchant interface generates a merchant request in response to the retrieval request. The system thus allows a substitute draft to be generated in response to the retrieval request that may eliminate the need for a merchant response with a sales draft to the request. The system provides for higher and more efficient completion of retrieval requests by ensuring that such retrieval requests receive at least a substitute draft response. By providing at least a substitute draft response to the card user, a chargeback for no response is avoided.

  • Patent number: 7846815
Abstract: A disclosed semiconductor fabrication process includes forming a first bonding structure on a first surface of a cap wafer, forming a second bonding structure on a first surface of a device wafer, and forming a device structure on the device wafer. One or more eutectic flow containment structures are formed on the cap wafer, the device wafer, or both. The flow containment structures may include flow containment micro-cavities (FCMCs) and flow containment micro-levee (FCMLs). The FCMLs may be elongated ridges overlying the first surface of the device wafer and extending substantially parallel to the bonding structure. The FCMLs may include interior FCMLs lying within a perimeter of the bonding structure, exterior FCMLs lying outside of the bonding structure perimeter, or both. When the two wafers are bonded, the FCMLs and FCMCs confine flow of the eutectic material to the region of the bonding structure.
