Abstract: An apparatus for die casting a rotor is disclosed, by which the die cast totors do not require reworking processes. An annular inner wall and an annular outer wall of a first mold are projected against an opposite surface of an intermediate die plate facing the movable die plate for inserting the inner wall and the outer wall into a sleeve. An annular first cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall, and a plurality of sprues is penetrated from an upper surface of the first mold to an annular first cavity. A plurality of gates protrude from a bottom portion of the first cabity. Also, sizing bars inject high pressure water through spraying holes to clean the die plates.
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device has a plurality of memory cell arrays with a plurality of bank sections. Bank sections identified by different sequence numbers are operated independently of each other. A plurality of data bus lines transfer data in order to write into a desired bank section in each of the memory cell arrays and to read data from the desired bank section in each of the memory cell arrays. The desired bank sections with a same sequence number in each of memory cell arrays are selected simultaneously by a vertical and horizontal bank selection signal.
Abstract: A quick connector of the ball-lock type includes a socket member, a plug member and a slidable sleeve which are specifically designed to permit manufacture by deep drawing of a sheet metal. The socket member and the plug member are each shaped in the form of a stepped tube and the plug member is inserted into the socket member in a telescoping fashion to form an annular chamber therebetween. An O-ring and a backup ring are mounted within the annular chamber by inserting them into the bore of the socket member.
Abstract: An improved process for Polytetramethylene-Ether-Glycol-Diesters of the formula R—CO—O(CH2—CH2—CH2—CH2—O)n-COR1, in which R and R1 are identical or different and are alkyl radicals or derivatives thereof, by polymerization of tetrahydrofuran in the presence of a heterogeneous polymerization catalyst and in the presence of a carboxylic anhydride. The use of aluminum silicate catalyst composed of acid-activated and calcinated natural halloysite instead of the known catalytic silicates as bentonite, zeolite or kaolinite. The new catalyst with a very long lifetime produces polymers having more uniform properties and narrow molecular weight distribution even with a relative impure monomer.
Abstract: Two generally co-planar panels (4) are supported almost edge-to-edge by an intermediate beam (1). A coupling member (2) is captive to the beam (1) by interengaging longitudinal formations (6, 11) and provides an interlocking engagement (12, 18) for the edges of the panels (4). Abstract: A method of forming a gate electrode of a compound semiconductor device includes forming a first insulating film pattern having a first aperture, forming a second insulating film pattern having a second aperture consisting of inverse V-type on the first insulating film pattern, forming a T-type gate electrode by depositing a conductivity film on the entire structure, removing a second insulating film pattern, forming a insulating spacer on a pole sidewall by etching a first insulating film pattern, and forming an ohmic electrode of the source and drain by self-aligning method using T-type gate electrode as a mask. Thereby T-type gate electrode of materials such as refractory metals can be prevented to be deteriorate because of high annealing, as well as it is stably formed, by using an insulating film. Ohmic metal and gate electrodes formed by self-aligning method can be prevented an interconnection by forming an insulating film spacer between these electrodes.

Abstract: A dental magnetic attachment having good cushioning properties against a compressing pressure which makes a denture sink appropriately on biting. The dental magnetic attachment embedded in the denture base for holding the denture in the oral cavity by a magnetic attractive force working with the magnetic assembly and a soft magnetic keeper embedded in the top of the root surface includes a magnetic assembly and a cap covering the top of the magnetic assembly. The magnetic assembly has a hollow in the center of its top. The cap with a button is placed on the magnetic assembly, inserting the button into the hollow to contact to its bottom. On biting, the button is compressed, to be deformed with a shorter thickness and at this time a sleeve formed as a body around the core slides down along the side of the magnetic assembly to reduce the thickness of the dental magnetic attachment. This sliding makes the denture sink uniformly and appropriately.
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a golf bag serves to secure and protect golf clubs contained in the golf bag. The apparatus includes at least one club head securing member for simultaneously securing one or more selected golf clubs contained in the golf bag. The club head securing member is provided with a middle portion for covering at least a portion of club heads of the selected golf clubs. Two extended portions are provided for allowing said middle portion to hold the selected golf clubs down onto the golf bag with a predetermined pressure, wherein one end of each extended portion integrally is extended from said middle portion. An attachment member is provided for detachably and length-adjustably attaching the other end of each extended portion to an upper portion of the golf bag to thereby maintain the predetermined pressure. The apparatus further includes a golf bag cover designed to fit over one or more club head securing member to provide additional protection.
Abstract: A vibration motor includes a stator and a rotor and excitation arrangements for deforming the stator in vibratory modes combining tangential vibrations and normal vibrations intended to drive rotation of the rotor. The rotor and the excitation arrangements have dimensions such that the normal and tangential modes have similar resonant frequencies, or even the same resonant frequency, and correspond substantially to the excitation frequency.

Abstract: The present system increases the number of channels in a given communication band by using narrow or very narrow band frequency modulation (FM) or phase modulation (PM). The system also improves sound quality, increases the signal-to-noise ratio, increases the power of the transmitted information, and/or achieves high selectivity, high fidelity and/or low distortion. Narrow band FM or PM signal communication can be implemented by transmitting a signal with a narrow or very narrow frequency spectrum, receiving the signal, converting the received signal to an IF (intermediate frequency) signal, and then expanding the narrow frequency deviation of the FM or PM signal. The narrow band frequency deviation may be expanded by frequency-multiplying the IF signal. A discriminator may then convert the frequency-deviation-multiplied signal to a low frequency signal or audio signal for further processing.
Abstract: An automatic tool changing device (ATC) for machining tools is disclosed. The ATC consists of arbor rotation guide means, arbor position changing means, arbor rotation means, tool changing means and ATC protection means. The ATC is positioned at a side of the movable table and effectively changes tools within the inner diameter circle of a rotary housing, thus shortening the arbor movement stroke and conserving the tool changing time during a tool changing operation. The ATC is also protected from the spindle stock of a machining tool, thus being free from any damage caused by chips from the spindle stock. The ATC is positioned at a side of the movable table in place of the column different from a typical ATC, so that it remarkably reduces the volume of the ATC protection cover and saves the manufacturing cost of such machining centers.

Abstract: A linear bearing is provided which can allow a shaft to relatively reciprocally move with respect to an outer race in the axial direction, and also to rotate in the circumferential direction. In the linear bearing of the invention, an outer race supports a shaft via balls which are retained by a retainer. A push ring is fitted to the outer race so as to be reciprocable in the axial direction. Three coil springs which are arranged at the intervals of 120° in the circumferential direction are contractedly interposed between a lid fixed to the outer race and the push ring, so as to press the push ring toward the retainer. Spring pins which protrude in the axial direction are fixed to the lid. Tip ends of the spring pins are reciprocally fitted into holes formed in the push ring, thereby preventing the push ring from rotating.
Abstract: A blender for delivery of blend additives to a plastics extrusion device has a mixing chamber for reception of materials to be blended. Batches of blend materials are delivered to the mixing chamber from material supply bins via a weight hopper. Within the mixing chamber, a mixing screw circulates and mixes the blend materials prior to discharge through an outlet to an extrusion process line. As material is discharged, a material level sensor is uncovered and calls for a further batch of blend materials to be discharged from the weigh hopper into the mixing chamber. The screw has a pair of mixing blades of opposed pitch to direct material inwardly from outer ends of the screw towards a center of the screw located above the outlet. Excess material above process demand requirements is delivered to the outlet by the screw. This excess material is directed upwardly away from the outlet and recirculated towards outer ends of the screw and remixed without material within the mixing chamber.

Abstract: A torsion screwdriver includes a positioning sleeve, a locking tube, a plurality of locking cylinder rods, a curved spring strip, a rotary member, a coupling sleeve, and a bit-driving shaft. The locking tube is disposed in the positioning sleeve, and is formed with rod-retaining slots for receiving the locking cylinder rods. The curved spring strip has one end connected to the locking tube, and the other end abutting against a projection at a front end of the positioning sleeve. The coupling sleeve is disposed in a sleeve-receiving hole of the locking tube, which is communicated with the rod-receiving slots, such that rotation of the positioning sleeve in a first direction results in co-rotation of the coupling sleeve with the positioning sleeve, whereas rotation of the positioning sleeve in a second direction results in idle rotation of the positioning sleeve relative to the coupling sleeve.
