Abstract: Novel 1-aryl and aralkyl 5-substituted biguanide compounds have been prepared. The compounds of this invention possess useful antiulcerogenic properties.
Abstract: Novel substituted phenylquanidine compounds and processes for their preparation are disclosed. Their use as anti-hypertensive agents is also revealed.
Abstract: The 1-substituted biguanides of this invention possess useful gastric anti-secretory and spasmolytic properties. Compounds of this type which also display anti-hypertensive and CNS depressant properties are also disclosed.
