Abstract: Improved faucet valve bonnet locking arrangement locks the valve control assembly to the valve body and utilizes a bonnet locking ring to lock the valve control assembly to the bonnet and consequently bonnet rotational movement relative to the valve body is prevented. In addition, the bonnet locking ring interengages the valve control assembly and the bonnet in a manner such that locking of the bonnet relative to the valve body may be accomplished regardless of the assembled rotational position of the bonnet relative to the valve body.
Abstract: A store load and ejector device for carrying stores on the exterior of an aircraft or the like and for dispensing same at the option of a pilot comprising a cap plate for connecting with the aircraft, struts connected with the cap plate and carrying at their bottom ends support beams having ejector racks capable of selectively dispensing the stores and at least two cross braces connected to and between respective support beams forward and aft of the struts so as to maintain separation of the support beams and any stores thereon. The cross members and the struts have biconvex shape with leading and trailing edges sweeping at respective angles within the range of 20.degree.-50.degree. so as to present low radar reflection or radar cross section. The struts, support beams and cross braces have biconvex shape for reduced drag.
Abstract: A detonating cord transport package wherein detonating cord is installed on a plurality of separator-support members so as to provide crossover locations at frequent intervals at which crossover locations there is incorporated means for stopping any detonation that occurs, with the result that such detonation will be confined to a relatively short length of detonating cord and will also be confined to the container in which the detonating cord transport package is disposed.
Abstract: Improved lighting devices and systems made up of plurality of groups of miniature incandescent lamps, with lamps connected in series and groups connected in parallel, a lens for each lamp made of clear translucent material with double diffusion means, with lamps arranged in a predetermined array with respect to a reflecting surface which in most cases has the quality of specular reflection, and with a stated minimum light source density, as well as other aspects and features.
Abstract: In the field of well drilling, completion and production in the petroleum industry a particular type of retrievable packer is commonly set by the application of "pull-push" force which may be derived from a conventional electric wireline setting tool of the pressurized type. The present invention provides a packer retrieving tool that is capable of effective use in retrieving the abovementioned type packer through use of "pull-push" forces derived from a conventional electric wireline setting tool. The retrieving tool of the present invention additionally includes effective provisions to be utilized in the event of malfunction of the electric wireline setting tool.
Abstract: A seeder cart having draft apparatus and caster wheels arranged to be coupled between draft bars of an agricultural implement, the seeder cart carrying seed and/or fertilizer bins and a metering arrangement to feed the seed and/or fertilizer to distributor points on the implement characterized by a pull head on the seeder cart having withdrawable pins on the pull head allowing the implement to be detached from the draft bar of the seeder cart, the pull head having a universal coupling device between it and the draft apparatus of the seeder cart and the seeder cart having limited movement stabilizer apparatus connecting its rear portion to the draft bars of the implement.

Abstract: A propulsion system for an airplane to permit it to achieve vertical and/or short take-offs and landings. The propulsion system is integrated into a wing/nacelle unit and includes a thrust vectoring system. A separate flow turbofan engine is mounted in each wing/nacelle unit. A system of three flaps is located at the rear of each wing/nacelle unit for deflecting the turbofan engine exhaust downward, rearward, or any angle in between. These three flaps are arranged to provide a main thrust nozzle in the horizontal flight position without any additional flaps between them. One flap is located at the wing/nacelle upper surface trailing edge. Two slots are provided at the leading edge of this flap. The upper forward most slot is provided as an exit nozzle for the engine turbine exhaust, which is shrouded from the fan exhaust. The second of these two slots removes a portion of the high energy fan exhaust from the fan discharge duct and ejects it over the flap upper surface.
